During this period Kings Lynn will be granted a facility for Mr Cook's absence Could they not suspend his licence so stoping him riding in poland? I assume he is racing on an Australian licence so no.Ā Which is a shame really. Another rider who has moved on from respecting Britain to using us. Mind you, I accept that, as a journeyman rider who has probably peaked, he has to maximise his income somehow.Ā He may well have been fined by Leszno for missing meetings - being injured in another league is no excuse in Poland Ā as Martin Vaculik found out when he broke his ankle at Swindon - but Britain lacks the strength to be able to do the same.Ā

Very Weak.Ā If he is medically fit toĀ race then he is medically fit to race anywher. (He would not be insured if he continued to race against medical advice)Ā Should be given 7 days to race again in the UK forĀ his contracted side.Ā If he fails to do so , banned for the rest of the season in UK. This will prevent any other club signing him ( e.g. for the p.offs.) KL should be given a facility fo the rest ofĀ the season.Ā If we have professional speedway in he UK they ought to start behaving like a professional governing body.Ā

UK Speedway has put themselves into such a position that they need these riders more than the riders need UK Speedway... There is simply no deterrent as UK Speedway cannot afford to have one...

Triple.H.
Does he live in the UK ? What if his visa says to live here, he has to work here ? Being ill or injured are valid reasons for not working here, but you're either fit enough to race or unfit to race.Ā Maybe whoever sponsors his visa should be notifying the relevant authorities he's in breach of his visa. Ā Apparently if you have a a Sports Visa and refuse to compete, but compete elsewhere, you are not violating the conditions of the visa - however, the sponsor can withdraw their support, which then jeopardises the status of the visa. So, if the Visa Sponsor is happy with the situation, the competitor is OK.
