He’s fortunate Harris’ avoid his erratic move on the second bend, never mind survive to accident to partake in the rerun.

Jaizer
Broken scaphoid for Dan today at the U21. No meeting until end of the month but assume be missing for a spell. Big blow. 1
Noelinho
Sedgy and Drew Kemp would be the obvious guests when the new averages come in.
szkocjasid
As long as Dan is back for the "big matches" Glasgow should be fine. Ipswich will miss him more. Biggest loss is Dan's SGP2 chances. Is there a later qualifying round he could be moved into?

Jaizer
Will Dan get a new average come June? Looking at stats page on bspl website has his gsa at 8.37 I think, which might give more options than the 7.74 held currently come June. I am aware those figures not official, just curious
InTheDeepStuff
Believe when new averages issued end of May Dan should move to 8.30 (8.71 for home matches) will mean can get anyone in the league as it stands now with exception of Masters, Lawson and Wright. With Flint and Boughen being let’s just say inconsistent R/R not really the first choice option

Kerryxo
Dan is still on the confirmed FIM starting list, updated 20/05. Am I reading too much into that? Or is there a possibility he's still gonna try despite the injury?
szkocjasid
I don't think Dan would be likely to get a wildcard tbh. Not sure how much attention the FIM would take to British league form? Maybe if he had won the British U21 title or gotten a wildcard to Cardiff he'd have been noticed more? Can only wait & see, if another Brit qualifies, don't see him having any chance of a wildcard. For me as soon as he was injured & should've got in touch with Luke Killeen & asked to swap meetings (assuming that's allowed) would've given himself an extra 2 weeks to recover. I suspect he's not going to pull out before he really has to, "just in case" he wakes up tomorrow and reckons he can give it a crack.

He did manage to complete heat 4 and wasn't off the pace, don't know the pain he is in but knowing speedway riders and how important this meeting is he might try, if he does I hope he doesn't end up injuring himself further. Think Tom Brennan missed out on the wildcards when he did it despite there being no other Brits in the field and he just missed out on a qualification spot in the toughest quali so wildcard for Dan I would think is unlikely.
