ScunnyDan Posted 3 hours ago Report Share Posted 3 hours ago We have started this page to support Scunthorpe Scorpion Jake Allen, who during one of his last league fixtures of the season, experienced a series of unfortunate events leaving him with only one salvageable bike going into his remaining fixtures. During his first ride an engine was blown therefore leading him to race on his second bike. In his second a crash caused him to lose the vast majority of his second bike including front wheel, diamond, handle bar and both guards. There was also damage to his forks and helmet. The costs are yet to be determined but are estimated to be £1,500. Jake wanted to publicly thank those who approached him Friday to offer their support, have sent messages since and Colin Poole for his support in piecing together his bent and broken frames since Friday’s fixture.
