I dont know your story and often there are two sides and we only read your version but you persisting your vendetta from 20 years ago on a website which is about the fans getting their team back is sad of you or maybe if this project fails then maybe you at least will be happy.

Please stick on this forum to helping get Mildenhall speedway back

whatever you say Steve

The problems with the new fence is a short term problem that cannot be resolved in time for the Fen Tigers to return to league racing this season but it does not derail the project and hopefully we will see some competitive matches later this year and a return to league racing in 2026.

Heard a possibility of switch for a NORA licence, can anyone elaborate?

An article in this weeks’ speedway star about this with the 84 trust members expected to vote on joining before the end of June with a provisional date of the 22nd June. Will still require inspection of track by Nora. The stadium owners have offered up to nine Saturday nights as well as practice sessions on Sundays.

Best wishes to all involved in Mildenhall Speedway. I see the SCB is trying to scare riders into not racing anywhere that the SCB/BSPL does not control the racing with their latest missive.

Where did you see this? They did the same to the IOW when they switched to NORA racing

Seems to be pointing out that you may need additional insurance at non BSPL events, if you get injured there is no entitlement to SRBF help and that you need permission from your club if you're attached to one.

I don't know why the SCB keep picking on NORA, apart from being bullies? They don't stop riders racing grass track, long track, flat track or in Poland. These events are not on SCB tracks.

In fact I'm sure when Charles Wright got injured in Poland a couple of years back he got support from the SRBF, which is contrary to the rules listed above!

Maybe because meeting held under a PZM licence. It says if you're representing GB abroad your covered. Maybe it applies to all events and tracks under the jurisdiction of a National organisation.

Who are the SCB to dictate to the SRBF who does and does not get funds!?! When the SRBF are giving out funds to tracks to provide them with the starting gate tower protectors and even paid for Ben Barker's hotel accomodation when his kid was in hospital having treatment to suggest that NORA riders would not be "entitled" to funds or benefits seems to be an overstep of their authority, surely it's down to the SRBF trustees and not the SCB, somebody seems to have ideas above their station and should not be meddling in SRBF affairs, absolutely disgusting!

I would really not want anyone connected to me, racing on a track which has not been passed as safe by the governing body, and who has then gone looking for someone else to disagree and say it's safe.

It reminds me of the joke about the passenger on a plane which was delayed for 4 hours.   When he asked what was the reason for the delay, they said  "The pilot heard a strange noise coming from one of the engines, and it will take us 4 hours to find another pilot who can't hear it".

Any organisation that allows you to have a "Funtime Bounce" air fence to gain a Homologation Certificate for a circuit licence can not be taken seriously 😂
