Yes , if it was anything like Prague last year, it pissed it down all day long until mid afternoon. The track covers saved the meeting from being postponed. I presume the same will happen at Belle Vue this year should the weather forecast be similar.

Simply because the track was perfectly dry as the introduction of the riders was commencing , but then the heavens opened with continuous heavy rain for 90 minutes - such conditions making it simply impossible for any outdoor/permanent speedway track to be raced on. great shame for Dougy & the assembled fans as a fantastic line up went to waste - for now

I can't find anything about whose riding, if it's being streamed etc. There's still nothing on the Lions website.

Happy Hunter
LEICESTER star Ryan Douglas makes a second attempt to stage his Testimonial meeting at the Hydroscand Arena, Beaumont Park on Saturday (4pm). All involved were devastated back in March when torrential rain moved in just as the riders were walking out on parade, to put paid to the meeting. However, there is another excellent line-up in place for Saturday for what should be an entertaining meeting without quite the pressure of play-off encounters! Important information for supporters is that for those present at the first staging, your re-admission ticket is valid for Saturday. For those paying on the day, normal Leicester Premiership prices apply. If you also have a programme from the original staging, inserts will be available free of charge. The changes on Saturday compared to March are largely due to the fact that it is Ekstraliga Finals weekend in Poland, with Watling JCB Lions skipper Max Fricke for example racing for Grudziadz at home to Wroclaw on Saturday evening. The line-up is as follows: 1 Ryan Douglas, 2 Matias Nielsen, 3 Bartosz Smektala, 4 Sam Masters, 5 Jason Doyle, 6 Scott Nicholls, 7 Kyle Howarth, 8 Tobiasz Musielak, 9 Luke Becker, 10 Niels-Kristian Iversen, 11 Kye Thomson, 12 Lewi Kerr, 13 Rohan Tungate, 14 Zach Cook, 15 Josh Pickering, 16 Leon Flint. There will also be 250cc Support races from the Young Lions featuring Seth Norman, Demi Blu Harris, Emerson Betty and Kane Newby.
