Blatant Because he laid and then failed to try and move his bike and just walked straight back to the middle of the arena and then to the pits so he wasn’t injured nor did he try to remove the bike from the track whilst the race was still in play. This was classed as a tactical decision to stop the race. Edited Friday at 07:39 PM by ShanoXtra More info

Hawk127
Shows what can be done with patience and time. Track appears good for racing and relies on the riders to attack what they have. Riders in the UK need to think outside the box if they want to earn an income in the UK from actually racing. It can be done, it just needs the right attitude.

I think Polish teams run the show there, riders run the show here because they are needed so desperately. What I do not understand is the British riders who race in Poland get it on, over here they cannot be bothered. Is it because the Polish teams demand loyalty and total commitment. Over here it is a case of topping up the salary/pension

Best thing for the Ekstraliga tbh. Rybnik are just awful and Gorzow are on the brink financially to a point where they've already lost Vaculik to Lublin and Thomsen is also rumoured to be on the move. Over there, TV pay a hefty sum, through a tender process, to get coverage rights, with advertiser's specifically using the breaks to hit their target market, meaning they need to keep TV very much onside.. Over here, the TV coverage is very much a "filler" for TNT . Sponsors too, are national companies, not "speedway fans with a business", therefore being associated with a credible, professional, brand is extremely important.. Doesn’t really matter too much, it’s more of a problem for Wroclaw. Bottom four have to go to a play down so whether you’re 5th or 8th you could get relegated. Wroclaw need top 4 to try and win the league. Today in Gorzów good news for the club. As long as they stay in the Ekstraliga they will keep Anders, Vaculik will go the Lublin but Jack holder will go to Gorzów. Financially they are now in very good position with sponsors, they are just blocked from spending money this season hence the poor team. Rumours Tungate will go to Stał also next season.

Does the UK have an operating model or make it up as it goes along? As for the sell out to the current broadcaster, who agreed that and sold the UK punter down the line. BSN would have been a far better option. I agree with your sentiments but the sport over here is at an amateur level and sooner those that run it realise they need to rethink the format, presentation and marketing opportunities the sooner they will have a credible product to take to market. Until then watch and learn from Poland.
ShanoXtra
Very interesting listening to my partner translate the studio conversation back to English. They said “this is why every young rider needs to ride in Britain, Lampart rode overseas for a while and learnt how to ride the type of track we have tonight and he is flying, you need to adapt and learn as much as possible whilst young”.
