eide67
Matt Marson guests for Max James for Monarchs and Berwick replace the still struggling with injury Bastian Borke with Jack Smith which moves Sam Hagon into the main body of the team. Another close one I think. Friday 2nd May: Edinburgh Monarchs v Berwick Bandits (BSN Series), Armadale, 7:30pm STELLAR MONARCHS: Justin Sedgmen, Kye Thomson, Jonatan Grahn, Paco Castagna (Capt.), Oskar Polis, Victor Palovaara, Matt Marson (Guest). R. E. D. BANDITS: Craig Cook, Danyon Hume (Capt.), Sam Hagon, Drew Kemp, Peter Kildemand, Dayle Wood, Jack Smith.
Mr Blobby
Outside of Cook, the rest shouldn’t cause us too much hassle. Should be a fairly routine home win. However we don’t seem to do things the easy way so who knows.

Temped to agree but Kemp might do something ,Dayle Wood might take care of Marston and Kindemand you never know (might cause havoc) if nothing else.Result probably meaningless.Who knows could go anyway.Your International Superstars are back though. I think you are underestimating the Bandits slightly, Kemp Is flying and is a top 15 guy in the league now imo Wood will pinch points off more than Marson if we aren’t gating sharp against him and Hume knows his way round Armadale. So if Kildemand gets to grip early and Hagon/Smith chip in with a few it won’t take much for Berwick to be right in it
tyler42
I think If Jack Smith can hit the ground running and Sam Hagon, who showed an upturn in his recent form at Leicester tonight. Also Kemp on fire tonight. The only worry would be Hume. Looked woful tonight. Only managing three pts in a very weak field.
TheWellBehavedWorrall Posted yesterday at 07:32 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 07:32 AM Can’t see anything other than a comfortable home win. Edinburgh, if firing on all cylinders, will be difficult to beat at Armadale. A lot will depend on Sedgmen’s fitness, Thomson’s form and which Castagna turns up. Double figures for Polis, 100%. A tough one for Berwick, being forced to move a reserve to the main body of the team through injury, but if Hagon can find some consistency, who knows what will happen? Could be important for best loser or even Berwick winning the group.
Goldmember06
Heat 1 and 7 cost us tonight. Good to see Danyon and Peter having much better nights. Took a strong reserve to beat us tonight.

At least we seem to have 3 decent Heatleaders.Good to see Cook in upbeat mood.Hume looked better tonight and Wood is still doing the job he was brought in for. Hagon can’t get out of gate and Smith is just Smith.

If you mean Heat 1 and putting the red light on after Sedgy moved, having watched the replay a few times he did Berwick a favour the Monarchs were on a 4-2 when the riders noticed the red light

allthegearbutnaeidea
Good performance from Kildemand, Kemp, Hume and Wood. Hagon cost us again, I feel for him, done well in heat 12, hopefully he can get some points tomorrow and Sunday.

Grahn can do well comparative to what he may do in the main body but nobody will get close to achieving what Palovaara can from that spot imo. tyler42
Why did Edinburgh use Marson tonight? Was he the only rider available. Surely Connor Coles would have been a better shout. I have seen Marson at Poole and now here at Edinburgh. Nothing against the lad, but he should be no where need the 2nd division. The league is really getting watered down and no seems to mind. Nearly all the teams are made up of third division riders at the bottom end. The supporters are paying top Dollar to basically watch juniors. How has it got to this?

Edinburgh can only use a 2pt championship rider or an NDL rider with no previous Championship average (or not over 2.00) for Max, Connor’s Championship average is 3.
