There are photos of him 'having words' with Jenkins at the end so whether that was something to do with it......? Catalan should know..! Didn't Jenkins have words with Lewi after the race where Lewi bike was packing up, and he tried to block him on the line

He's started well for Sheffield, only 3 meetings, but averaging 6.91. Hes only 4 meeting in. He's averaged 8.00 for Poole at home, and 3.50 away, and he had bike trouble in 1 of them. So it's his away form that he needs to improve on. I'm pretty sure it will come. He averaged around 8 in the Champ away from home last season. He hardly rode last season due to injury, that’s the reason his average is still high (rolling average)

But I agree, whether it's different or not how they like it, they should know what to do. Which they kinda did near the end. Just left themselves to much to do imo. I thought the track rode brilliantly, some close races and passing. Give me that anytime over the rather processional first meeting.

He averaged 7.09 in those meetings. But as you say his rolling average was higher. He came to Poole on 7.76.

If missing an official team match, then a non-speedway injury or illness gets a 7 day ban (medical certificate or not). But if he was injured riding Speedway then no ban. I'm not sure what happens for the British final as Lawson chose not to enter, the same for the Pairs & Klindt didn't ride in the riders championship.

Some people need to chilllllllllll Edit- also seen BK score lower for Poole when in the Prem consistently as a no1 and he never got sacked. But he was a management fave! Every rider knows whats expected of them when they ride for us. But in the case of young will im sure that he will give it his best shot, He's 16 and nothing is expected of him. He seems to be going ok for Sheffield but hasnt fired for us yet , I hope he does soon,Tobias could be covered until he gets back to the form we know he is capable of. Starke is not riding that badly, just needs to improve a little, he is probably not far off his average, he will certainly be ok against the 2 pointers. To have a successful season you want riders 2025 average to be higher than their rolling average. So far Lawson, Rowe, Cook, Thomsen & Starke have achieved that. Why would you move on riders who have upped their averages? Kerr & Marson are the only disappointments. They've a replacement for Marson already lined up & I wouldn't even be thinking of replacing Kerr at this early stage of the season.

This is the same at every track, very often the home team will "expect" the track to be perfect & suit the set-up they wish to use & if it's not then it's all the track mans fault as he can't produce a track that suits 7 different riders conflicting opinions. The visiting riders will walk the track & the senior riders will advise as to what they believe will work & then adapt their machines to suit the surface. After a short time the home team will catch on. Matt Marson is a martyr how many riders would make their self available for a position where they know is only half a season before they will be released. If he scores 0 or 10 it won't matter June 29 Cairns is in & he will be gone & at the seasons end who will remember that Matt Marson was ever a Poole rider
