He was signed to ride at reserve, if he was signed as a second string that’s where he’d be.

You were the one that claimed the Poole reserves are better than a guy averaging almost 10. Obviously been a long day for you.

To be honest in all the excitement I forgot Palovaara was still at reserve.

At least you can see that Zach is getting there, Kerr seems to start ok but goes backwards. Anders was terrific again.

Is he? One good race. Struggled in last 3 away meetings. Good job Ritchings did well tonight otherwise Plymouth may have just held on.

I’d be tempted to, but it would need to have another rider making way to make it worth while, spend the extra couple points to upgrade the team elsewhere. Whether that be Ritchings Kerr or Thompson. Although there’s a chance that Cairns will make the team challengers on his own if it is the expected straight swap

Poole will be 1.26 over the limit in June. So Cairns for Starke wouldn't give them much to play with to strengthen elsewhere (if they wanted to).

I think Vinnie had a lot of improvement still to come although to be honest he has yet to show it this season. Starke as you say could work out better as he can be a help to Cairns when they ride together and benefit from his experience. Not sure it matters where Zach rides really as long as he rides a bit better than he has done.

after tonight is Starke safe or will Ricchings be retained?

Next weeks meeting should be good-Cairns, Rushen, Vinnie Ford & Ritchings + more exciting riders. Looking forward to it

What a struggle for Poole that was can’t believe how poor they are this season compared to seasons gone by

The number 7 looked like he had a good night but only beat the opposition reserves who are the poorest in the league possibly …. Still a wins a win

And still in the BSN and KO cup semi finals

Well we made hard work of that tonight we look nowhere near a title winning team at the moment,Zachs idea moving to 5 well that’s gone about as bad as it could have another shocking meeting in general,Kerr lacked speed all night and to get 5-1d by Thompson and Trigger at home is pretty embarrassing and a real worry.

I think it can’t get more obvious than tonight that Rowe needs to be put to 5 asap it just feels like positions 3,4,5 are a mess at the moment

Kerr 3,Zach 4,Rowe 5.

As for Rowe another masterclass showing why he will be one of the top average riders in this league and Lawson again solid as ever, special mention to Darryl Ritchings who was the match winner for me and should of been rider of the night, and I think the management are going to have a decision to make soon wether cairns comes in for Starke or Ritchings.

Also do the rules allow a team to run two RS riders ?

If Starke (3.7) and Kerr (7.07) were to make way, totaling to 10.77, and Carins comes in on a 2 does that not leave 8.77 for the pirates to play with?
That would leave the pirates a few options like Ben Cook(should be back on the bike in a month and maybe looking for more meetings to get himself fit and make up for lost time/ earnings) and even Scott Nicholls if he’s recovered and not retired

If make more than 1 change then it's not like for like you have to go back whatever the limit was at the start of the season which if I remember was 40. So with Poole being 41.26 eff 1st June could fair out 10.77 and replace with a maximum 9.51 if I have my maths correct.

Leaves a good amount of points for Poole to play with if they do decide to drop Starke for cairns, I don’t think Starke will be dropped for Cairns and it’ll be interesting to see who picks up Ritchings right away

7.51. not a lot of them around hence Edinburgh had to take a punt on MPT.
