Poole listed at full strength. Comets using RR for Antti Vuolas as it stands right now.

With Vuolas being second in the averages, r/r should cover well.

Gives the Comets riders an extra ride to impress & stave off being dropped, with the poor start to the season they've had a great many could be under the threat of the sack.

Meeting postponed, the amount of rain that’s come down this week I’m not surprised. Another monsoon this morning too.

I think it is the forecast for most of tomorrow that has done for the meeting, today's forecast isn't bad at all.

Problem is Vuolas has been the most consistent comet (in a good way). Tate and batch have been the let downs but with a lack of available heatleaders would either get dropped? Bowes is still settling in whilst Hook and Foord are riding to their level. Sadly this year Workington is not a particularly well assembled team that relied upon Tate and Etheridge having a great year and thus far neither is.

Its just a lack of fixtures that doesnt help, once they get in the grove am sure they will be ok

It will be, but just because we have a few hours of sunshine, it won’t make a difference. The amount of rain that’s come down over the last week has done the damage.

It will be almost July and we will just be starting the league season, bascially becoming a 2 month league season. Needs a big rethink in the winter.

Fraser Bowes will be missing the Comets next 2 fixtures too because of Polish commitments

Should mean less gaps in the fixtures for the rest of the season though

Do the comets " commitments" not count!

Track was near perfect yesterday but wetter this morning after the overnight rain. With a better forecast tomorrow it wouldn't have been in doubt.
