It was Chris Louis’ own words when dropping Mountain from the Witches team a few years ago. His away form was fine, he just couldn’t get to get grips with Foxhall and it was that reason he was dropped. Perhaps they just think he can’t do a lot worse than what Hume amd Lambert have produced? May as well give him a go. He’s getting a couple of meetings as well so let’s see what he can do. Hopefully he does reasonably well.
Siggytastic
Not sure of the average's but given how Kemp rode down here the other week, would He have been a better option? Edited cos my fingers are too fat for the screen. Edited Tuesday at 09:40 PM by Siggytastic
TTT
Comfortable Ipswich win. Chris Holder isn't the same rider this season and Anders Rowe is now starting to struggle at No.2.
KevtheRev
I was quite impressed with Anders Rowe last year, I wouldn't write him off Edited Wednesday at 11:56 AM by KevtheRev

Agree about Holder, we needed him to maintain last years form once Tai got injured but he isn't the same rider this season Edited Wednesday at 12:26 PM by The Third Man

Gavan
Will take that result Masters 8 from 4 and Mountain only 1 point ….. we know Doyle and Dan would have got much more I love seeing Pickering ride but I think he was the wrong choice for 15 and the superheat Great meeting

JamesB
That was a cracking meeting, with plenty of passing. Two good teams who both deserve credit for a hard fought and competitive meeting.
Racin Jason 72
Really good meeting with lots of action. Flint really impressed for the visitors. I’m no jack holder fan but fair play to him for riding heat 15 and the superheat considering he has a gp tomorrow. another superb crowd royally entertained.
Robinh88
Great to see Tom Brennan winning Heat 15. Impressive to see him making the step up beating the big names. You can always rely on Emil beaten by Jack Holder 4x on a track he admittedly hates. Edited 18 hours ago by Robinh88

He dominated pretty much every race he was in and showed classed, he was miles ahead in races and only lost out in one due to mechanical failure. He was riding just as good as Doyle and I for one would love to see him back. Pickering was riding really well before heat 15 so deffo the right choice up to that point and even then brought a hell of a race to Emil. Tonight was a showcase for speedway fans, great atmosphere, even better races with lots of moves on a warm summers evening. TNT should have been in town for that one. I’d also like to say thank you to Sheffield for bringing their A game and taking it to us making it such an exciting meeting! spin king
No way did I see that coming. Like many after two poor performance away to Leicester, to go to Ipswich and to take them so close and a Super Heat for bonus point, I don't think we can complain. Even with missing riders Ipswich for a team like Sheffield who don't particularly like or ride the track well I fully expected us getting a thrashing. Another fine performance from Leon Flint from reserve he has to be arguably on present form the top rising star rider this season.

He had the beating of Jenkins and Mountain every time often passing them for the points.
Aries
Very enjoyable meeting. Great racing with the majority of the passing coming from the Sheffield boys!
Jez
Not been on BSF for quite a bit but have to say there was some really good racing from the off last night at Foxhall. The Sheffield lads looked a lot more on it after a couple of below par performances and unlucky to come away with no league or bonus points Edited 4 hours ago by Jez
