King’s Lynn vs Ipswich - Mon 16th June - Premiership r1

Recommended Posts

Going to be a lot tougher than the KO cup meeting a couple of weeks ago. As said above, even a not 100% Doyle will still probably get around 8, which should swing the meeting in the Witches favour. 43-47.

Stars

1. Lawson - 7 (4)

2. P Kildemand - 2 (3)

3. N Klindt - 5 (4)

4. C Harris - 9 (5)

5. N K Iversen - 6 (4)

6. J Kvech - 14 (7)

7. J Scott - 0 (3)

Total - 43

Witches

1. Sayfutdinov - 11 (5)

2. D King - 8 (4)

3. A Ellis - 4 (4)

4. T Brennan - 9 (5)

5. J Doyle - 8 (4)

6. C Mountain - 2 (4)

7. J Jenkins - 5 (4)

Total - 47

Can’t see this being far wrong, but I can see Kvech and Lawson getting 1 or 2 points less and Mountain/Ellis getting 1 or 2 more each 🤷🏻‍♂️ can see it being between 49-41 and 51-39 to the Witches

Going to make the drive up to Lynn tomorrow to come to it as I’m then off to Gorzów for the Grand Prix so speedway week for me. I heard last time the race was delayed due to bigger crowds, hopefully it’s not the same tomorrow night though!

PK pulled out of guesting, so r/r now.

KING’S Lynn have been forced into a change of plan for Monday’s ROWE Motor Oil Premiership clash with Ipswich as their planned guest Peter Kildemand has been ruled out.

The Dane was due to stand in for Ben Cook in the local derby at the Adrian Flux Arena, but he is unable to take the booking after crashing out of a meeting at German venue Ludwigslust on Saturday.

With other potential guest options exhausted, the PSH Environmental Stars will now operate the rider replacement facility for Cook, who did make his comeback on Sunday after two months out with a broken scaphoid.

Not riding at Poole on Wednesday either

So Klindt and three from Kvech then. That guarantees a seven ride evening for Kvech which was likely anyway.

That does mean though that Jody Scott will have to take his four programmed rides, and no Kvech in heat 15.

Definitely advantage Ipswich now as King's Lynn can't pull the tactical injury at No7 as Jody Scott will have to have 4 rides minimum on home debut.

It is a disaster for the home side that no guest is available but fingers crossed to the young lad & he has a blinder. 4+ points will be a dream start for the lad🤞🏻

Jenkins is carrying an injury and isn’t riding particularly well at the moment so he has every chance of doing well I think.

Superheat?

Even with a half fit Doyle, I think you'll have to much for us. Can't see Ellis being as poor as last time out either.

King's Lynn 40 - 50 Ipswich

It also means no leeway if somebody else has a stinker.

But thems the breaks, just have to get on with it.

Doyle will get more than the 5 points RR got for him 2 weeks ago, and i doubt Bomber and Kvech will bag 29 between them again. I hope Lawson is ok after pulling out of a polish meeting over the weekend.

I'm sure the Stars will give it their all, and i hope i'm wrong, but i think Ippo edge this one 43-47.

At least we won't see anybody dive into the fence on purpose this week :D

That’s going a bit far, it definitely wasn’t on purpose! 🤷🏻‍♂️ but I do agree that he didn’t look injured 😂

If you say so 😂 come off bend 2 pretty much at a standstill and next thing the lights are on because hes in the fence and then walked to the pits. Good job it's a mediocre sport over here because going from Wroclaw match he would've been red carded

He came off bend 4 actually… and it definitely wasn’t on purpose, I was there!

Kvech will definitely have to ride 7 now and Scott will have to ride 4 (3 if we get to use a tac sub, but hopefully we don’t)

If Kvech is on it and Klindt is on it like he was last week though then we could win a tight one tbh… but I just can’t see it. I think Ipswich will win it 49-41, I did predict Witches to score more than that when we had Kildemand.

I was there too and i meant bend 2 he come off the gas and went round very slowly

He certainly didn't go into the fence slowly as he sped up half way down the back straight.Plus he hit the fence reasonably hard with his bike finishing about 20/30 yards away from him.I'm not sticking up for him as I am glad he has gone, but is there really anyone that intentionally hits the fence.Least of all Boughen as he doesn't like any contact with anyone or anything by looks of his performances this season.
