Belle Vue ‘Aces’ vs King’s Lynn ‘Stars’ - Monday 23rd June 2025

My assumption is that Rowe is still struggling with his groin injury from last week and didn't want a fifth ride.

Cook and Klindt the right choice in heat 15, you should never put your number 2 in the last race as its just too long since their last ride.

We'd have won that with Jan. So frustrating.

A commendable result for the Stars given that they were without the best No6 in the league.

Was also confused as to why Rowe wasn’t in ht14,but who knows what was going on in the pits.Imo only going by the scores it could have been any 2 from 4 for Lynn in ht15.

I did wonder if that was what it was. Agree about Jan ,quite possibly would have had 6 if not 7 rides tonight, and would have surely been good for double figures , especially how belle vues middle order were tonight.

What the hells he on with. Blooming idiot

It absolutely wouldn't have been a 'blunder', there will be a good reason. Would have made no difference to the result tonight anyway.

Only 4 race wins will always leave a team vulnerable to the other team with 11 wins.

As the Aces showed they only needed to turn two of them into 5-1's given the score remained so close.

And when they do it in two out of the three last races there is no comeback .

Once we didn't get 5 in heat 12 that was that. Very much fancy we'd have had at least 45 before heat 15 with Jan but there we are.

BV definitely need the coming change at reserve to have a chance of the title.

100%, some people's maths isn’t strong clearly. Only a 5-1 in 14 would have given King's Lynn a sniff of a chance but there's no way any of our 7 would get near a dialled in Kurtz & Bewley.

Absolutely no chance of a blunder from Lyon.

Belle Vue built their team to be good at home

Kurtz and Bewley don’t lose many races

Lidsey flies round there

Trouble is Blordon is struggling … he normally goes well at home but he is poor this season …. Cook is inconsistent

They don’t travel well so if they can’t win at home by more than 10 they won’t win over 2 legs

Heat 14 should have been a 5-1 if Rowe was in it.

As always the top end firepower is Lynn’s downfall, especially away from home. In Lynn’s 8 away meetings this year they have conceded 5-1’s in 6/8 heat 13’s and 5/8 in heat 15’s. The last 2 meetings have proved having someone that can just split the Top 4’s 1&2 will convert these narrow last-heat decider losses into wins.

Well done Kings Lynn they were the better more compact side tonight and with Kvech would have won, i dont think we have as big an home advantage as people believe, what we do have is Dan and Brady and we do rely on heats 13 and 15, we certainly dont have the engine room or reserves especially considering our away form to challenge this season, even without Kvech if Lawson had come to the party we could have been in trouble.
