Birmingham ‘Brummies’ vs King’s Lynn ‘Stars’ - Premiership Monday 30th June

Recommended Posts

First of all a big well done to Luke Harrison on his performance tonight. Don’t know whether the track conditions made it hard for Cook and Kvech which aggravated their injuries. Bonus point gained but I feel it’s now all over for the fourth spot

Well done Birmingham. Great to see Kenny have a good meeting after a tough season for him so far. He’s such a talent but his progress has stalled somewhat this year. Maybe not the best move for him.

Harrison done very well, just stuck to the line and got his points.Track was awful in truth, you can't ride that track while riding with a knock,it was rough and bumpy that definite accounted for Kvech and also Cook had to lock up and he pulled up then. They would have been ok at somewhere like Belle Vue or Oxford where it is normally a lot smoother.I wouldn't pay £12.99 for another stream to watch that,i feel sorry for the fans that pay £24/£25 every week although they have a choice i suppose.I can't remember Perry Barr being that bad when i use to go to watch Lynn back in the old Premier league.

The commentator mentioned one good race, but that was only the last bend.If you could gate stick it on the line the win was pretty much assured.

Well as long as you’re there cheering them on I’m sure they will be giving there all to prove you wrong

Why would I be there cheering them on?
Good result for the Brummies, Stars have zero chance of getting a play off place if they can’t win at Brum.

So what if it was rough?

prepare the track to suit your side not the opposition

Let's see racing first and foremost, isnt that what we pay our money for?The more rough tracks we get the less chance you will see riders wanting to ride here. You get smooth tracks you get to see what I call proper speedway.Workington,Scunny,Belle Vue,Redcar great tracks, good speedway. You don't need tracks like our rumbly roads.

Klindt's interview told it how it was,and he scored well.

Sounds like the issues weren’t only the ‘goat’ track. Seems the changing rooms were filthy dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned and the same with the pits…are things that bad at Perry Barr that the brooms have been taken away?!

Well when you are so vocal about how rubbish they are all season then you would of thought to justify your opinion you would show up and criticise but I guess not

The witches at Suffolk nicked all the brooms when they were last here

Brum a bit of an enigma - in the mini league (bottom three) they got completely walloped at Oxford (which I felt they had a chance of getting something from) and then when you think they won't turn over KL at home they do.

Great night for Rew as well - hope Kvech and Cook were precautionary withdrawals!

Have to also note Barker scored more than I reckoned too, give his due that was a decent return. Probably helped by the KL injuries so no Kvech in heat 14 etc

Again, why would I attend when the Brummies aren’t my team?

If you can point me to a post (even from Brummies supporters) that say the team aren’t rubbish then your point might make some sense.

But of course you want be able to.
League tables don’t lie. Oxford loook awful too. Do you want me to attend there as well?

such an odd reply.

You still crippled Steve or back to full health now? Did you pay any of the money back that you defrauded the government out of in the end?
