Ben Trigger at 2 worries me, doubt he'll score a point. Sam Hagon also well out of form. Harris and Howarth will have a field day and Leon Flint will score well. Glasgow win by 6 points at least.

Don't write off Ben

He has had decent meetings for Redcar at Berwick and normally very sharp gater

Unlucky to lose place at Plymouth

Was exceptional for monarchs academy at Scunthorpe last night with 12point max. Aye it was NDL but fair play

He rode well tonight IMO.Kildemand was the let down for me.Couldn’t gate too save himself after his 1st race win.Berwick win might have been on the cards if he had. track looked slicker than normal for Ashfield, some decent racing as usual.

You wonder if PK is fit?

Been struggling it would seem with I think leg or knee injury

I don't think it's for lack of trying. Just can't get people. Looking at the teams for tonight, I'm not minded to go.

It doesn’t really inspire the travel to watch a guest fest that doesn’t resemble the usual Glasgow team.

Also making us much weaker so can see why some have decided against it.

Looking at our guests tonight suggests we have thrown the towel in and have surrendered any chance of a win.

To be fair only 3 teams to choose guests from Edinburgh,Scunny & Poole. We are having to go r/r for Cook and had Kemp been riding in France we would be struggling.

Excellent showing last night considering we were 14 points down at one point JJ and Kemp especially we brilliant.

As for tonight I think it’ll be another close run things with two weakened teams, for Berwick it’ll come down to whether JJ takes to the track the same way he took to Ashfield last night as Glasgow could potentially be using Bomber and Howarth for 6 rides each which will prove difficult to overcome unless Drew Kemp has some able back up.

Jeppesen and Kemp were excellent last night, Jeppesen in particular considering it was his first visit to Glasgow.

It will also be a big help if Trigger can pick up some points where Hagon couldn’t. I’d also love to see Smith scoring as well as yesterday. And if wood can get his 2 points we should be in a good position. But I agree a lot hinges on how quickly JJ can adapt to the track.

Give racers a great racing track  you will get great racing ;))

In fairness the racing at Berwick has been pretty good this year and it hasn’t always been just the home riders that have made excellent overtakes.

I don’t remember the last time I went to Ashfield and wasn’t entertained.

Delighted with the win, but I thought Berwick were strong. They’ll be delighted with that result.

Harris and Nagel were outstanding, but will be disappointed with heat 15. Flint had a great meeting too. I’ve been critical of him when he’s been poor, so it’s only right I praise him when it’s due.

If Morris hits the ground running and Hagon finds some form, Berwick will be nailed on for the play-offs. Jeppesen, once he found his rhythm, was almost untouchable.

I forgot to give special mention to Hodder and Perry too.

Hodder; not only for his win, but for pushing Kemp all the way in heat 7. Perry was so unlucky in heat 2, but that’s speedway.

Those two young boys, as a result of our team building strategy, have found themselves with a little bit more expectation on their shoulders, but have handled it face on and given it their all.
