When you're at a meeting you don't start looking into the distance in the opposite direction, you want to see if the rider(s) are okay or maybe even watch some handbags unfold. I can understand cutting away if it becomes obvious that a rider is in distress, nobody wants to see that, but BSN instantly cut away every time a rider goes down and there's no need for it, they're quite happy to show Scott Nicholls season ending crash in their opening credits.

TNT do the same, as regards the Scott crash if it was worse than what it was, they wouldn't be showing it, cameras only zoom in when they know the rider is ok

Don't know why TNT also cut away unless it's something to do with ofcom rules in the UK 🤷♂️

Spiderman1
Close but no cigar for scorpions, again to many No scores, need a number 3 to score at least, match the scorpions should of won, lambert scoring at reserve helps ,backed up well, all team (except Harrison) need to ride more, one league not enough

Don't know why TNT also cut away unless it's something to do with ofcom rules in the UK 🤷♂️ Can sort of understand it from TNT, they don't seem to have anyone in their production crew who know much about speedway, so maybe someone has said not to show crashes on replay while riders are down and they've taken it literally that the aftermath of crashes and falls aren't to be shown at all, TNT are useless for speedway. BSN you would have thought know better but, as you say, they cut away every time. Must admit I've had good value out of the subscription to BSN, didn't do it last season as I thought it was too expensive for the full pass but it's not too bad considering it often keeps me in on a Friday night instead of tipping even more money over pub bars. Been some decent meetings in the Championship, glad I took the plunge.

Think it is wise not too repeat incident and crash until the condition of riders is known out of respect. They show you the incident again in most cases. I agree but the point Ian made was that they don't even show you it during a race if they can avoid it, even a rider sliding off innocuously they immediately cut away. It's frustrating when the commentator is talking about it but you can't see it, I suppose it's just another example of the nanny state we live in these days. Like everyone else I don't want to see any rider injured but crashes and falls are part & parcel of the sport we love, yet they are removed from our view. edit; there's not many more violent sports than boxing, soon they'll be cutting away when someone gets decked. IainB
Only a small percentage of crashes result in any kind of serious injury, like I said there's no need to linger on it if it does appear more serious just stay on it for few seconds until it's clear a rider is in trouble or not, they've missed a few argey bargey incidents over the years for cutting away too soon. It'd also be useful if BSN could show an updated league table after the match, especially last night with 6 teams in action. Thought it was a pretty decent match tonight with some good racing for Armadale, happy to see Simon Lambert get in the points. Mr Blobby
Strange night last night thankfully it was only Scunny we were against. Track was a bit tricky bit grippy going in causing a few issues, not like us to get track prep wrong. Kye looked a bit down on pace, Grahn was either good or pants and MPT is an utter waste of time and seriously needs to get the finger out.Never thought I’d see the day Simon Lambert scores paid 15 round the dale but it happened. MTP has never been able to ride a track with an ounce of dirt on it.Luke Harrison can feel slightly aggrieved to be excluded last night in the incident with him .IMO
