Second bank holiday fixture for me, it's like the Dudley-Wolves days of my youth only much more travelling and less niggle on the terraces!  Lions to win by 10 on the final Speedway to ever be raced in the West Midlands ☹️

Would Belle Vue prefer to Face Ipswich in the semi, or one of either Leicester or Sheffield? Because if they’d rather avoid another trip to Foxhall and hope they get dumped out in the semi, then it’s best to have an “ off day” here and let Sheffield win to help them finish top.

Wouldn't matter to them as they'll lose to all three on aggregate anyway.

I've predicted it as
Ipswich 46
Leicester 42
Sheffield 40
Belle Vue 37

So even if Sheffield won this and got an extra 2 points wouldn't be close to Ipswich.

Which is last years score - my first ever visit to the NSS was Aug BH and it was 48/42 - great meeting seem to recall Anti Voulas scored really well for you - am tempted to come across again as weather set fair

Yep pain for them when they racing the late meeting in Poland and have to be at Belle Vue early, won't be getting much sleep.

we are never convincing on lunchtime meetings we would be better sticking to Evening meetings i can only see a narrow Aces win !!
