Any weather updates from Sheffield?

Been quiet a bit of rain and more forecast to come, although I believe they will make a big effort to get it on.

What time do you need to set off.

I’m in Sheffield city centre.

Bit of light drizzle and showers this morning. Massive thunderstorm at 1pm until about 2 and forecast is for it to continue to brighten up / diminishing chance of rain for the rest of the day (according to the BBC)

At 3:30pm

I am in Sheffield 6, same area as the stadium.

At present the sun is out and pavements and roads are dry, no signs of any puddles, which generally a good sign.

I am cautiously optimistic that we have a meeting to go to.

On to tonight's meeting.

I think Ipswich will push us really hard, and I don't see us winning by more than 8 to 10 points.

Ipswich are exceptional at home and we are generally poor around Foxhall so I think it safe to say that Ipswich will finish top of the league.

I am at home in Wisewood no rain here.

So we are around the same distance away from the track.

I did say cautiously optimistic.

They tried to get it on last week and look what happened.

The difference is that there was a big downpour at about 6ish that was very localised, i am about 7 miles away and didn't even know it had rained, today has been showers with sunshine, so hopefully they can cope with that

Looks like there's a weather cell heading towards Sheffield in the next hour, unless it rains itself out before it gets there I can see this going the same way as last weeks attempt at running it, in the current era this would normally have been called by now... I'm calling it now and am not going to bother.

That's just past me further north and it absolutely belted it down for 10 minutes or so
