Do we even know the whole make up of the National League yet? Which teams are riding? Is there a trophy this year etc? It's being left awfully late this year

Well no. I wouldn't have thought so, but it's still very quiet? All I've seen so far about the NL next year is Buxton are running and Kent are unlikely... all a bit quiet

Yes, but it is a known fact with MM, I will give an example the early April Opening date is a gamble with the weather at most tracks in the UK, at Buxton it is even more of a gamble because the weather is highly likely to be very cold up in the Peak district in early April, but it's not MM's money that is being used so not really a risk, now if the early May bank holiday 1 month later was the Opening date then i would suggest that is much more suitable weather wise and less likely that spectators won't need several layers to avoid getting frost bite, will I be going to Buxton yes, but no way will I be there in April. *JJ
As I understand it, they are going to start with practice sessions and so on. I have attended these and amateur racing in winter with freezing fog and snow ... I doubt if they are going to have paying racing for spectators before May, even if the NL starts before then. That makes sense but I read the following on Fb, If and when Buxton Ductair Bulls are given the BSPL go-ahead to return at third tier level, the first meeting at the hillside circuit in nearly eight years will be the Regina Chain-sponsored four-team tournament on Easter Sunday, April 5.
