Doners123
Hopefully another season at the tapes and one I’m really looking forward to with a good back end of the season with the new riders and crowds of 1000 plus regularly. Hopefully we can carry in this good work. obviously rules and points etc will change and maybe slightly early to Chuck teams out there but as a rough guess… 1- Klindt - I feel he may have a new club abroad and be able to ride therefore for Plymouth on the regular if not would need to find a new number 1. 2- Tobias does not sound like he will be in pooles plans next year and seems to go well round Plymouth. 3- 6.83 - maybe Joe Thompson if he is keen to come back but would like to see his away scores improve. 4- barker seems like a shoe in and great support for the top 3 especially at home. 5- Scotty Nichols hopefully he’s back all the interviews at the track he’s done and online seems to show he likes it but that’s not to say he will be just hope we can convince him. 6- Klima hopefully he will be back as he showed really good promise in the couple of meetings he did do for us. 7- 2.00 rider that hopefully can improve if only slightly. Would be really gutted to see bowtell go however I just think we need to score more points away from home collectively and feel Tobias and Klima will do that more regularly. HGould
that would be a very strong team. I was told by someone close to the family that Ryan Ingram was lined up for the 2 point rider for 2026 very early in 2025 as part of the deal to sign for NDL Plymouth team. Everything he has done this season only enhances that prospect in my opinion.

Looking at the stats (don't scream at me people) Joe T's away ave is almost 2 points higher than Barker's. If you want to be stronger away should pick Joe ahead of Barker. Joe's away ave is almost as high as his starting average, so he's definitely done well imo. Especially as I'm sure it's his first season being completely away from the reserve berth. I'd personally have both of them, especially thinking surely Barker can't be as bad away from home again (averaging less than 3.5). Looks a strong team, think Ingram would be a good choice as 2.00 reserve, he certainly seems to have improved, only saw him once at Scunthorpe & was impressed. Biggest doubt for me is Klindt, not sure I'd want a rider you can't rely on to turn up for home matches. I really can't see Uncle Mark Philips letting his nephew go unless something dramatically goes wrong?!

Wrong again, mark Phillips is not barker's uncle.
YeOldPitGate
Given Plymouth is a small track it could be worth trying to get the young yank Slater Lightcap over or Dillon Ruml whatever happened to him looked to be making great progress at Oxford then nothing I haven't even seen him racing in the USA be a shame if he has retired as I think with time he could have developed into a useful rider in the UK. Injured early in 2024 and hasn't ridden since.

Just pointing out it's more Barker's away form that is a concern rather than Joe T's There was mitigating circumstances which contributed to barker's poor away form,I'm certain that will be improved in 2026 wherever he rides. Looking forward to see what team Mark and Garry put together for 2026.massive change of feel good factor around the club with increased crowds, good meetings, beating Poole 3 times helps just need to keep the momentum going, winning trophies would be great but good atmosphere, happy punters for Plymouth is priority. Scott Nicholls was blown away by the atmosphere and feel good factor whether it's enough for him to sign for 2026 remains to be seen. Rest assured Plymouth are on a upward spiral.
