King's Lynn Stars 2026

Douglas wouldn't shock me, that's about the only level King's Lynn ever signs as a No1.

That would be another season propping up the league.

Can this club just 'Have A Go' for a change??

If the club can't be bothered with winning titles, the fans will eventually not bother also.

I wouldn’t worry. Just been reading on another thread that money isn’t an issue at Kings Lynn so I’m fully expecting the chequebook to be opened and a big hitter signed up at number 1 👍🏻

I've just clarified what I said on that thread, a misunderstanding on my part.

Would be nice if you were right though.....

If money isn't an issue at Kings Lynn does that mean Buster won't be there.

Sorry to hijack the thread but just thought I'd flag there will be a speedway event in King's Lynn on Thursday November 20, namely an Evening with Nicki Pedersen.

It's being held at the Duke's Head Hotel in King's Lynn and you can buy tickets (£20 and £40 for VIP) via sportingknights.co.uk/events

Cheers :)

Or sneak in the back entrance for nowt.

Not really sure about Douglas as a number one. Rode at 3 all year for Leicester, so avoided the tough heat 13 (obviously rode in heat 15s). His scores at Lynn look pretty decent though, although that was against a team without top end strength.

Mind you, it would still give Lynn a stronger number one than their 2025 side, if they can keep the same strength in depth, could work out.

But if you have a stronger #1 you can't retain the strength in depth, that's the nature of team building under a points limit.

As it stands though it's pretty clear that Lynn would be bottom of a 5 team league

Perhaps this year they'll try building the team differently

Since moving up to the top flight they would struggle to build a sandcastle

Might? One will never know. Need changes next year deffo

Of course changes are needed, as with all the teams that didn't win it.

Your words..

"Since moving up to the top flight they would struggle to build a sandcastle"

Last seasons team wasn't a bad one, if Cook had been fit. A few had us for a play off spot.

2018 wasn't bad either.
