Technik
I was at Rye House when Andrew Silver was riding for them in his later years & on the other side was Gary Havelock. It was fantastic to watch the two of them switching lines in the turn standing the bike up. Of course they were both masters of throttle control & finding the best from their machines on the surface provided. Today we have many riders who are just throttle jockey's & ride flat out until they run out of talent

Lots of great suggestions, but given you’ve asked for only one, I’m going to go for Brian Andersen, former Coventry Bees’ captain and Danish international. He rode for Newcastle for a few meetings after he won the u21 title then joined Coventry.

TheWellBehavedWorrall
Villads Nagel has a remarkable style. Probably the most all-action style I’ve seen at Ashfield. He’s looking under his handlebars with his right leg in the air coming off corners. It’s cost him a few times, but with experience, he’ll have more control. Chris116 Posted yesterday at 10:17 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 10:17 AM I will show my age but Ronnie Moore had superb control of his bike and watching him from 30 yards during the year when the league was run with handicap racing was just amazing.
The White Knight Posted yesterday at 03:15 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 03:15 PM I think I will give a shout out for Peter Craven. I never saw him ride live, but having watched videos etc. I reckon he had a terrific style.

I hadn't seen him ride since he was at Swindon and clocked him straight away absolutely agree he was very distinctly stylish on the bike - leg trailer without equal and looked spectacular in full flow. In terms of foot forward then Leigh Adams was super smooth and also Malcolm Simmonds - he was well into his 40s when he did that half season at Arena in 1989 but the first time i saw him ride i thought wow he is super smooth and stylish. Leigh Lanham was also a smooth inside line rider with a great style. Edited yesterday at 05:51 PM by GeneralMelchett
