Speedway AGM

Well that's day 1 of the Speedway AGM over. Has there been any word of what the league format or points limit etc is going to be for 2026.

Thought the AGM had been moved from this week to the start of January??

usually a few days after until any info made public . probably same as last year with minor rule changes

Everything is agreed before this anyway hence why majority of the league have already signed their 1-7s.

Since when? Thought it was November. Will that allow enough time to be ready for the start of the season. If everything is agreed whats the point of the AGM.

never the less surely  points and rules need to be agreed for champ asswell .  most clubs are signed up by then if  not close to being done

Its a joke, some saying today some January?. I thought it was today in Rugby for 1 day only.

IF the AGM has been cancelled until January, how will it help the clubs push season ticket sales and merchandise  etc for Xmas presents, approach sponsors and potentially new sponsors for the new season. It gets more of a joke everyday

So teams advertising their 2026 squads  in December could have to disappoint some riders if rules change, typical speedway.

Do people not realise everything is agreed before the AGM? They just rubber stamp it this go make it look “official”

Normally, they'd agree everything and rubberstamp it at the AGM.  But this year they've had to put the AGM back 2 months because everything hasn't been agreed yet.

But the points limit has hence most teams are all sorted already.

What kind of things have not been agreed? and if they are leaving it until January, then surely that is going to be tight in terms the start of the season, if there is anything major to decide.
