Redcar v Poole Friday 8/05/26

Recommended Posts

So this return fixture doesn't appear to have a lot of interest?

Pirates looking to get at least the aggregate point after Weds 54-36 home win are at full strength.

Redcar operate r/r for Mulford but have surprisingly  declared Scott fit after last night's crash at Northampton.

Thoughts...

Ah that might explain why there was little interest.

It was on at 8am ish though as they did a post about who is going. Also a fan has put on Redcar FB post that there is no rain forecast. I mean not exactly the worst forecast i have seen but guess they want a full team.

Edit - forecast slightly worse than last time i checked so will let them off!

Ah that'll keep Cooper Rushen at reserve a little longer before he gets his real average.

Only for a week as says it is rearranged for next week according to Cooper's instagram post.

Think Redcarr will be quietly happy this meeting didn’t go ahead. No Mulford and Jody with that nasty crash yesterday wouldn’t have been near 100%, especially as he withdrew from the meeting.

What are you suggesting???

Not suggesting foul play, the forecast was terrible (according to BBC) and I think it’s fair to say Redcar will be happy that they can stage the meeting when they have a stronger team available.

The postponement benefitted Redcar but I like watching the pirates round Redcar so hopefully next week the sun will be out and there will be a stream.
