Maybe it is time that the ACU get involved and refuse British riders start permission if they have a clash of meetings in the UK as the PZM have done previously to Polish riders

Maybe... or maybe Dan should grow a pair and not put up with this kind of BS from Lodz, either way it needs to stop. If he's not getting selected to ride, maybe he's not actually ready for Poland yet and should concentrate on achieving better results consistently elsewhere, then the Polish clubs will be swarming for him.

... and believe it or not that's what happens in proper sports 👍

No it doesn’t.
in “other sports” a squad system is utilised. Such squads are made up of multiples of the required number I.e Football - 11 on the squad of 23or 25 and another 20 or so full time “juniors”.
However, speedway has never been able to work an affordable and competitive squad system.
Just to say, whilst I think RR is an acceptable solution for a missing rider, Guests are not, neither is doubling up between Championship and Premier clubs.
That said, I remain hopeful that in the not too distant future, a group of professional like minded promoters will, together, begin to influence the much needed change required for UK speedway.

I'm honestly not looking for an argument @1 valve I'm really not, but what you've posted is just wrong, football clubs often promote from within due to an injury crisis,  even from their youth academy, admittedly never because their rider has decided to skip a match to not play elsewhere, but it happens, also in cricket.

Leicester have an NDL team to promote from.

I wouldn't allow any guest or R/R facility for such absences.
