Dougy and Dan T are our best two riders at the moment but they're paired together at 1 & 2. Dan appears to be wasted in that position. Morris will now be paired with reserves for three of his rides, which looks a weak combination. That said, it should not affect the meeting outcome and Dickson is no doubt still smarting from that earlier defeat at Northampton.

Problem is Morris is ruthless as a ‘team rider’ in most meetings he’s carved his own team mate up, be that Thompson or Howarth, or Kemp.  He’s possibly better off at 2 riding with Douglas and then have Thompson and Howarth at 3 and 4, that’s if Masters can regain some form and get points from riding at 5

... and all of a sudden in July 🤷‍♂️, the meeting countdown and sponsor introductions are back 👏

Word must have got out to Mr Morris (who is definitely still Premiership CEO)

... although the sponsor boards are have down on the centre green... again 👎🏻

I wonder if they get a refund 🤔

Have they abandoned the meeting tonight? I paid to watch the stream, but so far have been treated to about 30 minutes of a previous meeting. After 57 years of following live speedway and being a season ticket holder, my wife and i decided not to go this season....and so far we haven't missed it. I've no idea how they expect to attract new supporters  serving up this borefest every five weeks or so.

I've got to say it Foxes fans but your team manager is pretty clueless (and he's far from alone in Speedway), Jonas Jeppesen 7 points from reserve and just the 4 rides! Is it any wonder you can't win (except for Leicester at home 😉)

A couple of years ago, we took a young lad who had never seen speedway before and he absolutely loved it. He pestered his parents to come again, but speedway being speedway, we closed down at the height of summer and didn't have a meeting for weeks (sound familiar?). In the meantime he was taken to the football for his first match and now never misses a game and has no wish to return to the speedway. For us two, after following the Lions (and Long Eaton during the fallow years) home and away for 57 years, we got fed up with sitting watching nothing happening during endless breaks, whilst listening to a guy waffling on about Blackbird Road, which means nothing to potential new supporters. We've got 10 Grandchildren and have tried to introduce them to the sport i've loved for decades, but they all say the same thing, the racing is great, but the rest is boring and they have no interest in returning. I still love my speedway with a passion, but i'm not missing going if i'm honest. We'll still stream the meetings though.

Sorry i almost forgot to mention the weekly treat at Leicester of listening to Glad all over by the Dave Clark Five, followed by Que Sera, Sera..... come on kids, sing along...

Jonas got 3 and 1 from 2 rides. Are you going to replace lidsey or NKI with him??? Probably not. Harrison only had 3 also.

I think 4 rides was probably right for him

Just seen the scores...

Why didn't Jeppesen have (at least), six rides?...

At least two riders didnt deserve four...

Jonas was an impressive winner of heat 2 from the back with a very clever ride, puk looked out of sorts all night while Batch was on fire! Jonas could easily have replaced puk in one ride and probably Lidsey and/or Harrison, they were only 2 points down at heat 9, then blew it conceding 2 5-1's courtesy of puk and Lidsey
