Just going through the motions. Doyley puts the same effort into a gp final as he does in a challenge match. Never less than his all. Obviously now no GP commitments this year either lightening his schedule which helps.

Doyle is very much "old skool" for me... In any era he would be top level simply due to his drive and desire... From UK reserve to World Champ in five years wasn't it?.. No drama, no BS, just 100% commitment to whichever team he rides for... The teams in the UK who get him usually have a very decent season...

Yep and really should have two world titles as a bad injury robbed him when he was leading in the year prior to becoming world champ.

I like Richard and really hope he can turn the sport around but if it is Nilsson he would have been better to have kept quite about team plans for next year and just said we will have a stronger team in 2027 within the restrictions of budgets and getting people over. He's kind of built up hopes of Emil/Woryna and if they end up with Nilsson it will be a bit of an own goal.

I think it’s going to be Doyle musielak and king as our top

TBF he never actually named anyone but I agree to an extent that he’s put unnecessary pressure on himself with his comments from the summer onwards. Especially after the Belle Vue meeting when he addressed the fans in the stadium. Let’s wait and see what he comes up with though.

Agreed but hasn't got the wow factor Richard was building up , would be great if Emil could be tempted back as I think most Ippo fans would rather have him back even over the beloved Doyley.
