Arthur73
I did quite a bit of digging and it was 134,000 which made it the 3rd best on ITV4 for that week. Trying to work out how good that is? For context it would've been 6th on Sky Sports for that week however there was no Premier League football. It did beat most hundred cricket matches though.

It must of been ok because I was quite surprised how many of my customers who don’t follow the sport but know I do mentioned watching it to me

That's a pretty decent number for a Saturday evening slot on ITV4 I would think.. Don't think the Motorbike Show, that has that slot, would pull that many in...

That’s decent figures for a Saturday evening on ITV4 and have to remember it’s also about advertising revenue that brings in . What the sport really needs is sponsorship that will pay 15k a meeting towards the production costs that makes it more viable to broadcasters. Due to new technology and remote production meaning that less staff now around 7-8 need to travel to site rather than 25+ last time Sky broadcast Speedway

I used this website https://www.thinkbox.tv/training-and-tools/barb-data/top-programmes-report and then set the filters to ITV4 However due to the fact it is featuring a week after the British final I put it into a different website called way back machine which has website screenshots from previous weeks. I found the week of the British final and got the figure.

Advertisers are generally only interested in live viewers as its assumed those that timeshift a programme fast forward through the ads. The issue is the demographics are highly unattractive for mainstream advertisers. To old, to male and to poor. Over 50's Life Assurance?.. Those "Cheapo Funeral" Adverts?.. Just like watching U&Alibi and C5 now.....😁 Edit. Almost forgot... Those chairs that tip you out of them.. Walk in, sit down baths .. And those trainers that you don't need to bend down to put on, or tie any laces...😀 Edited yesterday at 09:11 AM by mikebv 3
The Cheese Posted yesterday at 11:16 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 11:16 AM If that's just the peak, is there not a chance that was because the programme overran and it was people tuning in at 10pm for the EFL highlights?

Correct. The out of place figure is the VOSDAL (Viewed On Same Day As Live) which is exceptionally high. Says to me that people on holiday were streaming it. Maybe Social Media and YT views added?...
flagrag
Can’t give you the full details as commercially sensitive but can confirm over 125,000 watched Or recorded the Live Speedway on Sky Q or Sky Stream. There is also still over 15,000 users that have it saved on their box most of which have viewed over 30mins of action
