53-37 from the first leg, so a 16 points deficit to face.

Highly likely to be our final fixture in what has been a disappointing season, all things considered.

Pickering will go through the card with 15 points, leaving six Scorpions to collect 23 between them to secure their place in the final. Mountain alone will likely hit double-figures from reserve.

No idea about guests or availability for the Scorpions, but saw we’ve got Rowe in for Howarth and Hausl back.

Big changes needed next season. Big changes.

If RR for Harrison then Pickering can have six rides. It's being suggested that Loftus guests in place of Hook. Jenkins isn't available as he's on paternity leave

In that case, a probable 18 points for Pickering, leaving them needing just an 18 points contribution from the others. Easy for the Scorpions, sadly.

Those shambolic performances from Harris and Flint in the first leg have absolutely burst us.

Jordy Loftus for Jacob Hook? You're having a laugh ain't ya. 

He was about half a lap behind in each of his 3 outings for Poole at Redcar ok Tuesday night 

(Although I thought you couldn't use guests from other playoff teams even though Edinburgh are out).

18+18 = 36. Scunthorpe need 38.

Ablitt, MPT, Ingram and Loftus (if he's the guest) will struggle to get 10 between them meaning Mountain will need to get at least 10 from the reserve spot.

Hopefully whoever the team manager is for Scunthorpe they'll have the balls to give Mountain the maximum number of rides unlike Howe did in the home leg

You can’t. But maybe it’s his sister? She couldn’t score any less. 
The Tigers need the Bomber of 2025 not the 2026 version who’s lost nearly two points off his average. One season too many for him or maybe got another team to go to in 2027? Maybe there’s a Dan T/Harris swap in the offing?

I think you're being a bit unkind; if it wasn't for those two, you wouldn't have had a sniff of being in the playoffs. Your finger should be pointing at the three riders with averages under 4. The 2 x British U21 champion was hailed as a huge winter signing for the Tigers. Has been none existent at No2. Hausel was signed off the back of two good meetings, as for Hodder, he is now in his third full season in the championship, imo should be scoring a lot better than he is. All three owe the Tigers a big meeting. Scunthorpe are not the strongest away from home, and are definitely there for the taking.

Loftus cant guest as Edinburgh were in the play offs, even though they are out now

Agree with you and that's why I said it's being suggested - by someone on FB that looked to be a pal of Loftus. They really won't have many options and RR can't be used as they are running that for Harrison

Harris and Flint will make up for their performances at Scunthorpe, i think Glasgow still have a chance of pulling this back Ablitt, MPT, Ingram i wouldnt expect to contribute much. Tigers really need to start quickly and put pressure on the Scorpions. Interesting meeting.

Don’t think this  tie is over.They need someone to really backup Pickering.Jenkins not be available is a blow IMO.Also appears to missing Berwick on Sat which will be miss for Bandits.

If Scunny are going to hold on to their 16 point lead they need Mountain to have a decent night because hes probably doing 7 rides. Scunny should operate R/R at number 5 and sacrifice Ingram's 3rd ride in heat 13. I hope David Howe is studying his program.

Second of all, unkind? They’re our top two and in what has been our biggest meeting of the season, they scored 8 points in 9 rides between them. They are not immune to criticism; they were both embarrassing. I’ve witnessed first hand their fantastic contributions to the Tigers, but it’s competitive sport, so let’s call a spade a spade; they let us down at Scunthorpe.

I fully expect them to respond on Friday night but four last places between your top two in a key meeting is unacceptable.

I'm not too fussed whether you're having it or not. The fact of the matter is, you can't expect your top two riders to get you out of jail all the time. Speedway teams have seven riders for a reason; if the other five are not performing, surely it's not down to your top two to get you over the line week in, week out. Yes, it was unfortunate that Howarth decided to call it a day, but Zischke wasn't a bad replacement and the Plymouth lad done ok as well in said meeting. Good job they did!! Or tomorrow's meeting would be a foregone conclusion.

Can they not have Jody Scott for Harrison and have r/r for Hook and put it at no2 like TMs like doing? 

Also they were saying on speedway360 podcast that Gilkes was supposed to be making a comeback this week. Is that not happening now?
