However "up north" from Plymouth could be half the teams, or indeed any team in the league as Plymouth are the furthest South

Has anyone read the article in the speedway star ? Does it say where he's going or just saying he will be back in the UK. Haven't got the star delivered yet, think the postman is still reading it 😜

To us that would mean not Glasgow or Edinburgh, but to him he might have been meaning UK. He wouldn't be the first rider to make that mistake

So an Instagram statement from Plymouth Promoter confirming they will run in 2027 thanks to a big donation from a Reading fans group! Barely a week after the end of the season - that's  some effort!!😉

Nicholls,Barker,Batchelor would be the heatleaders id imagine and Joe Thompson at 4 looks fairly certain that’s the top 4 and I’d imagine Tobias Thomsen would make up the top 5.

My gut feeling is it was never in doubt that the Gladiators would be coming to tapes in 2027. When the article hit the Plymouth Herald on the 20th October the quoted target was £20000 not £46000 ? It's not as if it is a big track. The threat of not running in 2027 has obviously had the desired effect.

Grmek is definitely not worth that. Rode most of the year at reserve (he would start as second string at Glasgow) and has a worse average than both Mario Hausl and Ryan Ingram. 

Even Mitchell Cluff, who can't ride Armadale (his home track last year), had a better average than Grmek
