Heard Leicester might be trying to tempt a GP rider over to pair with Dougy

If as expected teams have got to include two under 21’s in 2027 (and currently Lions have none) then significant changes to 2027 line up will be needed.
Another rumour is that the points limit will be increase for the 2027 Premier league to make accommodation of GP riders possible.
one rider who makes it possible of adding a GP rider and including a under 21 is Nazar Parnitskyi. Doesnt have UK experience but does kill two birds with one stone & easy to see a UK team signing him.

For me there's one signing that would make me jump straight back into the lions den and that's Max Fricke.

Can’t argue with that. But for it to be possible then a significant increase in points limit and some creative signings would be required to make it possible.
of the 2026 team, Dickson will most probably stick with Douglas, Morris & Dan Thompson. With one of Joe T & Drew Kemp being a possibility. So three places needed of which 2 will be under 21’s

I think I’d rather keep on JT than Kemp

As Leicester will be looking for a new rising star in 2027 on tonight’s and previous performances I think Jordy Loftus may be an option as does seem to ride the Leicester track well and with another strong Australian influence in the team could be a good environment for him to develop further .

As Jen alluded to after the meeting there is some very exciting news coming in a couple of weeks at Leicester which will show commitment to the sport

The opening post suggests another GP rider coming in. Why not recall Fricke??

The new GP rider would be an 8.00 and Fricke would be 8.27.

Would absolutely go with the more league experienced guy over someone that most certainly ISN'T going to be one of the GP big guns.

Fricke is a GP rider.     Seems pretty obvious that is who the opening post is alluding to.   No brainer for Fricke to be back at Leicester

But didn’t they choose not to have him in their side this year for financial reasons? Have they got new investment?

Or has Fricke decided somewhere he's happier is worth the drop in money overall?

Or maybe Fricke has resigned for Lynn already and somebody else is being talked about?

I do not know who the rider is, all I know is that the club have asked sponsors how much they can put into the club to try to tempt a GP rider to join

Fricke back to Leicester because Lambert will be a Star?

Buy Maps

Could it maybe the other way around ? Just Jen’s comment that announcement they will be making in a few weeks was good for the club and British Speedway
