Hooligans !!!!

Maybe... i dont go to Ultras sectors. They do fantastic shows like this one but they are mostly teenage simpletons that curse a lot and can't behave even when the national Anthem is being singed.

Not a tartan flask to be seen...

Not even a camping chair...

And I presume no chance of a tartan blanket (with or without tassels)...

What sort of Speedway are they running in Poland?

It will never catch on, you mark my words...

Are the fireworks a celebration of something or just a show anyone know?

Had a great weekend. Leszno v Lublin friday, Torun SEC saturday & ZG v Bartosz Zmarzlik on sunday. A lot of time on the bus/trains but worth it just for the atmosphere at ZG from their turn1 - 2 fans.

Lovely to meet up with all the British Fans travelling independently especially Jimmy.

Hope to see some of you at Wroclaw GP. Another Polish Speedway feast this weekend to come at reasonable `do-it-yourself prices. Weather permitting of course.

You're up against one of your deadliest rivals. The match is about to begin. You need to intimidate them. This is the way, a tribal and warlike beating of the collective chests of thousands of Falubaz fans. That's all it is...  :-)

Cant imagine what the translation of the banners is- something like " Gorzow we welcome you to our stadium. Hope you have a lovely time " :)

Just like steve69, we also had a great time in Poland over the weekend, taking in Leszno v Lublin Friday night and Wroclaw v Grudziadz on Sunday. We didn't make the long trek to Torun on Saturday, but we did watch it in an Irish bar in Wroclaw.

I've been to quite a few GP's and went to last year's SON but nothing compares to the atmosphere at Polish league racing. Racing-wise both meetings were very good, some bad crashes at Wroclaw but happily Buczkowski, Fricke and Milik all walked away.

The set up is so professional, all the mechanics and riders in matching teamwear, and even though these guys are top stars they still come out after the meeting for photos and autographs keeping the kids and not so young kids happy.

All in all a great weekend and looking forward to the next one.
