screm 8,057 Posted April 7, 2019 Away wins are a very rare thing for Berwick, so I`m sure this one will be celebrated well into the night. Excellent win and well team managed with the right riders being replaced in the right races. For Berwick to early to get carried away, but what a great win, while for Newcastle to early to panic but they need to improve especially at home.

phillipsr 2,053 Posted April 7, 2019 Newcastle even worse than originally thought or Berwick better than predicted??
Fromafar 10,362 Posted April 7, 2019 Excellent win,Garcia a trump card if he can keep his form during the season
NJC71 388 Posted April 7, 2019 It may be early but heat leaders have not got going yet (particularly Bjerre) which exposes the tail which is too long. Lambert & Wethers are reserves riding in the top 5 and the reserve pairing isn’t strong enough. Not sure where the improvement in that bottom 4 is going to come from. Can’t see this being the team come the end of the season.
Icicle 896 Posted April 7, 2019 A bit of both...methinks away wins of Berwick won't be such a rarity this year.

Over the last few seasons our record away from home has poor to say the least, so lets not get carried away. We have Glasgow home and away at the end of the week, do well in those meetings and we really could be onto something. However for tonight lets celebrate a great win at Newcastle.

Barbarian 4 Posted April 7, 2019 Going to be a long season if that display by Newcastle is anything to go by. Only Clegg came out of that meeting with any credit for Newcastle.
diamond@heart 399 Posted April 7, 2019 (edited) Absolute s***e. Phillips not good enough for this league and both Lambert and Wethers pi$$ poor. Wethers needs to improve and Lambert and fast, I think the team already needs a major shakeup and we are only two meetings in. Only Clegg has impressed me so far. I don't mind losing but we need to compete and we are not, we are poor out of the gate and giving ourselves a massive hill to climb. RedcarRacer 228 Posted April 7, 2019 Good job Gappmaier did nothing, otherwise this could have been a real hammering... 2
