Thank you Aviator - Geoff has obviously never been to Wimborne Road.

The grandstand is constructed from  a steel framework, infilled with concrete seat plinths and brick walls. The only wood used is on the seat planks which are laid and fixed on concrete seat plinths. All hand rails and crowd control barriers are steel tubing.

Thanks for the info..you should have a feature in speedway star...what's the track made of...plastic?

Then you would know it's not a wooden stand, as the concrete grandstand was built in 1960 and the glass fronted grandstand was built in 1997

Poole look stronger with the guests so should be a routine home win. Let's hope  the bumps don't affect things too much. Who'll be the first to get a jump start warning, Ellis Tungate or Andersen?

Poole look stronger? You must be on a windup. Opportunity here for Peterborough they would never have had if Poole were with their 1-7.
