I don't need to. They couldn't pay the bonds that had been set up front, that means they couldn't afford it.

You mean the new bonds that they weren’t told about before they applied and that were invented by the BSPA to keep them down in the NL so it didn’t fold?

The BSPA also said that they had to be paid immediately, with no chance to factor that into cash flow.

Explain why you still think Barker will be a Gladiator in the Championship next year.Which is what started this discussion.!!!

Beg to Differ ,end of season averages are always higher, that does not prove it is a weaker league than last season.

ps

don’t think that is what I said.

The standard of the league last season was the same at the start of the year and the end of the year, regardless of a 38.00 or 42.00 average total. End of season averages are now used for this season, so the starting 38.00 is irrelevant now.

When you take the average of team totals from last season which isn’t totally accurate due to some assessed averages replacing higher averaged riders, it is above 41.00. Therefore the standard has now been lowered by reducing that average down to 41.00. Hope that clears that up for you.

It doesn’t,

irrespective of your averages theory, mine is that 99% of the riders will still be riding in the  league and new riders can take their place if necessary +2 new Teams,so don’t see any weakening of the standard.

will leave it at that though.:t:

How anyone thinks that the product is weaker, when it's already rock bottom, beggars belief.

Lesser riders because their average fits more than likely. Stats don’t lie and teams will be weaker this year as a comparison to last years on the whole.

The thing is you're talking about the teams that finished the league. Riders who improved their average have, on a whole, become better riders over the year. As much as "lesser riders" will take their place the standard would still be the same as the beginning of last year. These lesser riders may progress to be better!

The lineups for music festivals from years ago will always look better than today's if you look at them today. Because bands booked as small bands back then have gone on to become headliners. But at the time they had the same quality as today.

How about Ben Barker as a Bandit.!!

Great rider to watch as a guest but a nightmare to manage full time, anyway Berwick have had Barker before so should've learned from that. As others have said to much baggage
