DOES ANYONE KNOW THE NAME OF THE RETIREMENT HOME WHERE JACK GERAN IS LIVING?

If you are on FACEBOOK there is an excellent group delicated to Exeter. I am sure that while they also will not reveal his actual address they would be prepared to contact him on your behalf STEVESCHILLER.

Jack is the 10th oldest surviving World Finalist-he will turn 90 on 10th December, if any forumlander gets to visit him please tell him he is fondly remembered by the Speedway fraternity. Good on you Jack.

Fondly remembered at Cowley as a member of the all-conquering 1964 team.

Oxford 1964 what a team-they had a number of guys whose name started with G-trying to remember there was Geran , Genz, Goody the others (if any) I can't recall . Certainly there was Ron How, Pander, Reeves and Bishop-,maybe there were only 3 G-Men

Oxford '64 I was there and often wondered what became of the promoters, Rodney Rycroft and Cyril Melville, who at the time were most affable and approachable and then disappeared, apparantly.

Me too I've often wondered, didn't they leave a lot of debts behind them though
