Old Crusader 135 Posted June 1, 2021 Good guest in Drew Kemp for Plymouth. Think it will be a tough one for Kent.

Yearbyred 1,103 Posted June 1, 2021 Very unlucky for Plymouth to lose their star signing before the first home meeting of the season. Cruel sport at times.
screm 8,057 Posted June 1, 2021 As already mentioned Danny King guests for Jason Crump while Drew Kemp guests for the injured Henry Atkins.
old bob at herne bay 828 Posted June 1, 2021 Big blow for the Plymouth promotion losing Jason Crump .....he was undoubtedly the star attraction of the Plymouth side, and would have put "bums on seats." Unless B Pedersen gets it together after his embarrassing performance at P'boro last night (000X) there will be lots of empty seats at Plymouth.
solrac 313 Posted June 1, 2021 Plymouth will be carrying at least 2 riders per meeting which makes things really difficult at that level. Let's hope they pick up and give their supporters something to cheer.
the hobbit 153 Posted June 1, 2021 Why wasn’t Tom Bacon given heat 15? He was Kent’s top scorer at that stage, Threw away the win with that decision in my opinion .

I know its in the rules but doesnt feel right that a home team can use a tactical sub. Plymouth picked wisely with thier guest and saved thier blushes but Goret must be a huge concern.
RebelDan 203 Posted June 1, 2021 It was great to see some live Speedway again and thankfully all the riders came through unscathed. A decent crowd, a beautiful Devon evening and even the slight delay and intermittent tannoy system didnt stop the smiles. The racing despite being largely processional was close and competitive. For Kent, Nicholls tried his nuts off and Gilkes and Tom Bacon were excellent, for the Devils Danny King was an brilliant guest, Bjarne did ok and will get better and Cook improved as the evening went on. Ruml tried hard and looked quick but just couldn’t gate, there definitely looks potential there, Goret was the concern and looked well off the pace and clearly needs more track time and support. Overall a good start for the Plymouth promotion.

blueherb777 571 Posted June 2, 2021 Can`t help feeling the Kings let slip their ONE chance of an AWAY win this year! On the plus side...six Kings won a heat and young Gilkes is looking a real diamond. Sure lot of the crowd turned up to see Crump....but doubt he would have done as well as King? Looking forward to the Kings first home meeting (at last!!!!!)
