  1. Past hour
  2. Far too many hangers on in that set up who add nothing to actually improving us on track, they get an all expenses paid for trip out of it though. Vatcher being one of them, doesn’t add anything, prances around sprouting crap, offers nothing. Along with all the others with nonsense job titles, jobs for the mates stuff.
  3. I think its a matter of a lack of experience abroad for the two Lukes, in terms of how to ride those tracks and set the bike up for them. They will both have learned a shed load from the meeting but I think the Team GB set up needs to get our 15 & 16 year olds riding in Poland and other countries on 500cc machines more regularly if we want to be competitive in these types of meetings. You could see from the way they were riding that Bednar, the Danes, the Aussies etx are all completely at home on a track like Torun and that only comes from experience, and probably loads of training time.
  4. I do like the visual professionalism that GB projects but is it producing the results ? Outside lambert and bewley where are we ?
  5. Had to have helmets on for doing wheelies etc, all the bikes they rode in the meeting would’ve been in the fenced off area where they need to stay for 30 minutes after their last race so probably on the spares.
  6. Despite having team Kevlars I thought it was good to see race jackets with the flag of the country on, thought it looked very traditional and I am a fan of team Kevlars
  7. It’s actually quite ridiculous the amount of members team GB have compared to the other nations. All for wanting to look professional but they take it to another level. You get a lot of the “oh look at us we’re team GB” vibe from it, more than one team staying in the same hotel as them yet they’re the only ones with the daft posters at the door saying official hotel of Team GB. It’s just daft.
  8. When the riders came out for their victory lap before going on podium why did they have helmets on and why did they all take their fork covers off ?
  9. Jeppesen is nearly a point above Zach, if his average fits, of course he's be preferred to Cook. Can't see it happening unless Poole move up.
  10. My memory is when the GPs first started the U21 Champ qualified for the following season. I think Crump, Mikael Max & Jesber B Jensen, got in this way. It got dropped as the U21 Champs weren't always GP standard, even when it was a 24 rider field.
  11. If it's supposed to be the top 15 riders in the world, then you wouldn't get lots of new faces every year. Doesn't bother me as long as they qualify by right. I don't see why the SGP2 Champ should get a spot, as above GPs should be for the top 15 riders, irrespective of nationality, age, gender etc. just because a rider is the best U21, doesn't mean they are amongst the best 15 seniors. I would be happy with SGP2 Champ getting a spot in the GP Challenge, if they are good enough, they'll qualify.
  12. Think your missing the point about Ziske bike being damaged and not given time to fix,it was clear on TV there was a dispute about it,although Kelvin never mentioned anything.Perhaps that’s why the Ref was lenient. It pretty obvious that NONE of the riders thought the time clock was on.
  13. Shouldn't really be making comments about the Lawson situation, it says he on compassionate leave not paternity leave
  14. If it were not for the bizarre exclusion earlier Poland would surely have been on the rostrum ? Ref missed the opportunity to exclude all 3 riders in a heat where none were even at the tapes with the countdown clock on 0 Thats what I dislike about refs - inconsistency.
  15. Rogers probably wants to recycle the Birmingham Bulls body colours! Anyway, 'High Peak Hitmen' was a rather silly name ...
  16. They are not bad riders, they were just outclassed.Speedway in Europe is a different ballgame to GB at that level.
  17. Pawekczak looks the real deal at16 .Very controlled and stylish.Did they say he was only 16 -2 weeks ago.? There is least 1/2 doz exciting Poles though.
  18. moan, moan and more moaning....haven't you got a programme to fill in from the 70's or wash the flask out!..
  19. Here we go again poole bringing in a ringer, never forgot what they did to the brummies.Holder out bloody Hancock in. Poole are wos.
  20. It sums WBD up "f**king" perfectly for me, zero quality control!
  21. Today
  22. Lambert to fluff it tonight with no back up for Bewley. Won’t even get bronze medal.
  23. I don't think the Lukes are as bad riders as there scores suggest, Jake Mulford was also hopelessly outclassed in the SGP2 this season, they're all riding 500cc Speedway machines, and Mulford is a World Champion in another discipline, so the only conclusion I can come to is it's all about "setup" a word we seem to hear more than any other in modern day Speedway... maybe instead of the army of hangers on in the Team GB setup they should have a "setup" expert
  24. For me the concern is not what it says on the hat (before I put my specs on I read it as 'f***ing pervert') - but the fact that it suggests the broadcaster care so little about the product that they are leaving the production to the youth experience kid.
  25. I suppose Ben Cooks average is too high.
  26. Because Lawson will be babysitting and his wife goes to Bingo that night.
