God forbid that minor breaches of rules & regulations are allowed to slide - surely not in speedway?!

The SCB was rightly criticised for implementing a regulation against Workington, because they never stated which regulation it was. I e-mailed to ask, and never even had the courtesy of a reply.

Did the Lemon say anything to Bewley and Kurtz before the Stupid Heat? Bewley throttle-jockeying off into the distance was of no use to the Aces - if he at least tried to hold up Sayfutdinov, and maybe even let Sayfutdinov go so he could try help Kurtz ... as it was his huge margin of victory in the race was of no benefit at all, when he could have at least tried all-or-nothing.

I don't often feel I need to stand up for SCB, but, in this case I do. If they don't implement the regulations they get rightly criticised, but when they do pull up a transgression they still get criticised. Perhaps for next season we could have an asterisk beside regulations that are discretionary.

It will be a great Sheffield team that you'll have next season with Musielak in it and Woffinden back! You won't see much action though with Birmingham gone and two other clubs seriously considering dropping down to the Championship - so I'd suggest that you be careful of what you wish for!!

Good Lord, yet another team tun up at Poole full of guests , shorn of their top riders. Surely they cannot fail to beat the patched up Plymouth side? Nice move to pitch Darren Ritchings against the poor Poole pair at 6and 7. Puts t hen under some serious scrutiny, especially if Starkers fails to deliver. I’d tend to agree. I think at foxhall Ellis is far stronger than his poor away outings. He tends to throw it on the outside at Foxhall more than anywhere else if he is behind.

Supporter levels seem poor at all the meetings on show. Sad about the decline but perhaps the sport needs to adopt a less is more with fewer meetings with the top riders and to make it attractive you should have one off events with the cream of the sport. It seems that the business model outside Poland is unsustainable and time to let the Poles lead the way in domestic league speedway paying top dollar with other countries ploughing their own furrow to develop the sport for the future and competing at just international level with test matches etc.

It's a professional sport and needs to act accordingly It may not be the most serious of breaches but once you start letting things slide it becomes thd thin end on the wedge
