  1. Past hour
  2. Sadly, I think the SCB will step in and block the guest, just as they did with R/R for Jacob Clouting for Oxford Chargers at Edinburgh. British Speedway is in the dark ages and doesn't do paternity/compassionate leave.
  3. Is there a reason Jonas cant ride Sunday? Much prefer him to Ellis, dont know why we asked a rider who has a big meeting for his own club the following day.
  4. 'Blurred Lines' was a track by Robin Thicke!!🤣🤣
  5. Riders just want/need bike time. The Ippo preview says they are aware a few of their riders have other matches elsewhere. Seem OK with that.
  6. Why? Are Poole changing their race night?🤔
  7. Today
  8. Go back 50 or 60 years, and it was no less sporadic then as far as TRUE world-class British riders.
  9. What? That's a bloody common name up north on t'Yorkshire moors! I honestly don't get the modern outrage at individuals switching nationalities. It's nowt unusual, and as we said, it's been happening for years.
  10. Indeed he did. He also said "nothing teaches you like riding abroad & getting a hiding", GB guys rode as well as they could, got a good heat win in their last ride, will defo learn from the experience & so do better next time. Regarding Lambert apparently not recognising PC, Ivan once made an unannounced & unintroduced visit to the Hull pits, Craven Park era 2000 or so, after talking to all the riders one was heard to remark "who was that bloke & what does he know about speedway ?!". As it happens, Ivan knew quite a bit about speedway😉....
  11. Yep I'd go Cairns & Rushen for next time and stick with them while they are eligible. Presume its a SWC event next year rather than SoN?
  12. Yesterday
  13. Looking forward to this and hoping the tie will still be alive after the first leg. As a Lions fan I have a feeling that Dan T could haunt us now that he is back in a reserve berth. With no TS options available, he could still have seven rides if he’s on form. Couple this with the fact that his brother Joe, based on current form, may not beat an opponent home or away, which may give the Witches the edge. Hope I’m wrong but it looks like we will be carrying Joe again which makes Ipswich slight favourites in my opinion.
  14. No it's not. The rider himself confirmed on BSN it's pronouced how it's spelt. I think he might know better than you do!
  15. Pretty sure he was interviewed on BSN and he said it wasn't pronounced Nail.
  16. Yup …..I heard that too …..will the pair of them still be commentatingremotely for the Final. ? It’s really amateur with audio out of sync , graphics wrong, scores incorrect . I don’t know what feed of info they get from trackside, but it clearly distracts Tatum more than Louis.
  17. Very good point he was outstanding the commitment he showed I would take him at Poole next year in place of Zach cook 100%
  18. Tbf it's nothing new, Jonny Wynant wore this last year
  19. They didn't do their homework on how to pronounce Villads Nagel's name either, it's pronouced Nail.
  20. I'd take Dave Rowe or Dave Goddard as lead commentator in a heartbeat.
  21. Show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser. I thik it was Ivan Mauger who said that.
  22. Jonus is class act in Championship.would like too see him stay with Berwick next season. Not confident though.
