  1. Past hour
  2. A positive if cautious statement but given local elections etc and the speed that local authorities go at thats not surprising Lets hope that when they conclude these investigations the outcome will be positive
  3. Could be a good opportunity for Brennan to rediscover some form… think it’ll be close tonight
  4. Good to hear when I used to go Saturday nights I would say they averaged a thousand to 1,500 depending on the quality of the opposition.
  5. Has anyone heard of this SPEEDWAY FUTURES LTD committee, I believe they have a team of, a Sir Philip Nobody, Mark Is-a-Lemon, Harry Disappeared Redknapp and Rob Gobbyfrey. They are trying to take the future of the sport to new heights,by introducing minds boggling ideas for the future. I think they came together in 2025 ??? but have not put forward anything to suggest Speedway is a sport that will survive beyond 2026/27. Oh, sorry everyone I think I dreamt this last night,no-one is around to take this fantastic sport of Speedway onwards or maybe there is , maybe we are just waiting to here about a committee that WILL TAKE THE SPORT EFFING FORWARD iiiiiii
  6. And is now off (12mm of rain forecast) Looks like Norrköping for me then
  7. With the regular season rapidly coming to a conclusion, it’s worth knowing that the teams who finish 1st and 5th have the choice of opponents in the play-offs and play- downs respectively( 1st round). The lower team ride at home 1st.
  8. You'd think this will be a home win but Lions are somewhat inconsistent at the moment.
  9. Today
  10. Live updates on Saturday from 10am UK time. https://live.baansportfansite.nl/event/1129/fim-sgp4-world-championship-malilla.html
  11. Not a huge amount of difference from what I've seen.
  12. Seemingly no interest in this meeting. Both sides have riders missing. Leicester have booked Josh Pickering to cover for Ryan Douglas ( injured in Poland yesterday) and utilise RR for Kyle Howarth. Likewise Ipswich operate RR for Danny King.
  13. With the wind and hot weather today, there is no amount of water buster can put down that could make the track too wet.
  14. It’s not a fair comparison though as some teams have ridden very few matches. A clearer picture will emerge as the season progresses, but I’d be surprised if Scunthorpe make the play offs. Poole will be on top and one, or maybe both of the Scottish teams will be top four. Surprisingly, that looks like it’ll be Edinburgh as Harris seems to be really struggling wherever he goes. Redcar are looking strong, Berwick a bit hit and miss but I’d rate them higher than Scunthorpe. Oxford were always over-rated, in my view and, without Riss, need Sam to be hitting nearly 15 points per meeting. Plymouth looked handy for a while, even though losing Barker for a to injury was always a when, not an if, but having King missing is really hurting them. Which I think leaves Workington. The pre-season gamble, some call it folly, has proved all the doubting Thomas’s right. Maybe their only success this year will be snatching the wooden spoon away from Scunthorpe.
  15. Let’s be fair the Belle Vue fans on here are generally a good bunch who can give it and take it Apart from one who constantly puts Belle Vue above any other side for everything All a bit weird if you ask me
  16. Yes no programmes two weeks in a row is disappointing, but now thinking if I really need one.
  17. I didn’t bother mentioning the jacuzzi as Norman and Kenny don’t like too many visitors when only in speedos
