  1. Past hour
  2. Mitch Mcdairmid was impressive on his first visit too Shielfield , looks a real prospect.IMO.
  3. Cook was averaging 4 before he got injured. He's a 6 point rider in the UK with BV as a home track, away from that 4 is about right.
  4. Cook is a six point rider (check his average if you don’t believe me). His recent scores in Poland would suggest that his injury isn’t so bad. Whilst I have a degree of sympathy regarding his attitude to British speedway, Lynn do have previous with this scenario do they not? The Stars were hardly ripping up trees before he got injured were they?. To say that it is glaringly obvious that Lynn would have made the play offs is therefore deluded. Out of interest, care to inform us as to which of the current top four teams you think Lynn would have finished above?
  5. I wouldn't waste your time mate. Several people who seem to frequent Lynn threads dont have a clue.
  6. Wasn’t really crap was it?… because if Ben hadn’t badly broken his wrist/arm then Lynn would have made the playoffs 🤷🏻‍♂️ that’s glaringly obvious
  7. Rain from mid morning until tea time predicted for tomorrow. I’m sure Buster will be able to deal with that though 🤨
  8. Today
  9. Totally agree. All this crap about Lynn’s strength in having a strong No.6 (whoever’s turn it is) has come to nothing. Not sure about the outcome of this meeting, but expecting it to be close with a maximum of a six point win either way.
  10. Remains to be seen 🤔 polish play/offs in 2 weeks
  11. Yes, I’ve looked at this again. I think I got my wires crossed. The wording of the SCB rules regarding guests relates to riders in a teams top five allowance for an additional 5% on averages for guests standing in for a rider in a home meeting (which I was aware of). An additional clarifying sentence along the lines of ‘guests outside of a teams top five are permitted but the extra 5% is not applicable’ could perhaps be included. Anyway, trivial, move on!
  12. Lynn thrown in the towel on the season. Finally not having kvech or Klindt at reserve will show how powerful that was. Expect Leicester to win by more than 10. If I were a Lynn fan I wouldn’t even want B.Cook back this season, pointless and you’ll just be loading up his pockets for what reason? He let you down bad.
  13. Final score doesn’t do rybnik justice and was a pretty good match to watch
  14. Stars: 1 Kvech, 2 Iversen, 3 Harris, 4 Lawson, 5 Klindt, 6 T.Thomsen (G), 7 Harrison Lions: 1 Fricke, 2 R/R (Becker), 3 Douglas, 4 Howarth, 5 Masters, 6 Kemp, 7 J.Thompson Lions lead 53-37 on aggregate after the home leg at the Hydroscand Arena. Thread open for comments and predictions…
  15. I agree about the rule but as we are at the moment it isn’t a rule and therefore someone had to go
  16. If that was lap 2 I'd have excluded Pedersen for knocking Lidsey off. However, Holder moved him out and it wasn't his fault either. Time for a common sense rule when no rider is actually at fault.
  17. they have took the rule of moving at the start to the extreme
  18. Common sense isn’t a rule, there should be a rule for such events but there isn’t so you implement the rule that is in place, what would ref of done if that was on next lap ? Lidsey was the only one that caused the stoppage, he was on the floor, the only reason it was stopped, fault or not
  19. Lidsey only one not to blame for the stoppage IMO. Ref used common sense and would like it used more often.
  20. No bumps last night. Track was prepared smooth as it's been all season just to suit Mr. Courtney's Oxford team
