I was wondering who could potentially benefit from this. Is it for British riders, or anyone who rides in Britain? For instance could Dan Bewley benefit, after his recent crash, which happened outside UK? Would a non British rider benefit if they crashed riding in the Premiership or Championship? Could say Jack Holder, a non British rider, but rides in Britain, but had a recent crash outside Britain benefit? Would they help Robert Lambert if he got injured? Presumably any non British rider not riding in Britain could not benefit.

And how does that speed things up exactly? Surely you just have 2 separate ques on the night, one for pre paid tickets and one for payment on the gate?

I would imagine England's world cup match at stupid o'clock Monday would have meant some very tired people come Monday night affecting Stars attendance. Vintage stuff from Niels and good to see Nicolai score well, both badly missed in Stars colours this season. 5 heat winners in a fairly processional drawn out meeting was never going to be enough. That felt like a point won, not a point dropped in the end

Rushen, Jenkins, Howarth, Cairns, Edwards, Barker, Ablitt, Pijper, Harrison, J Thompson, Newman, S Lambert, Rowe, Mountain, Killeen, Kemp was the original semi-final draw. Any mention of this or the updated semi-final line-up before it was postponed seems to have been deleted from the British Speedway website though.

I don't think its for solely British riders either, more for incidents that occur racing in Britain

depends, 1,5 extra by car doesn't seem that challenging (abut 3 hours from Västervik by car). or 3:20 with bus+train combination to Eskilstuna

Is there any chance Doyle can be hooked back into the fold when his 28 day deal at BV expires? Agree with Shano about Nicholls... I think it was well worth a try, but it hasn't had the desired results. Lawson and Nicholls out, JD and Jeppesen in perhaps. That would give fans a huge boost!

Joined in 2010, still had a local team then, and went regularly to almost all home matches and a few away, then 2012 it all changed when my team folded, now an occasional meeting attendee if happen to be near a still functioning team, but follow all results avidly

That was one of the reasons we stopped attending absolutely no urgency to get the meeting completed 15 heats is 15 heats if it’s over hour and a half or 3 hours but on a Monday or Thursday evening keeping the meeting flowing should be top priority but sadly it isn’t - speedway in this country needs a total reset 15 heats for £25 is way to expensive for what’s on offer basically 15 minutes racing - we’ve not been to Kings Lynn since August 2021 v Peterborough have I missed it definitely not and this comes from someone who arranged his whole life around speedway especially Kings Lynn .

I must have watched a different meeting .I found it dull, predominantly gate and go and drawn out. From completing 4 heats before 8 o clock to only get to heat 7 by 8.45 was dreadful
