  1. Past hour
  2. Shows the flaw in the U21 rule. Joe T after a good season, having to start in the top 5, could mean not getting a team spot. I can see that happening a lot, some weaker U21s getting a chance too early, but stronger riders getting left on the scrapheap at 22!
  3. Craig Cook going to Justin's testimonial in Aus,???
  4. You're comparing someone who dabbles in recreational drugs with a violent criminal who robs vulnerable people at knifepoint? I'm not condoning or encouraging drug use at all btw particularly if it involves riding under the influence and endangering others however comparing Complin's offences with those of Garrity is wild.
  5. Won't be 22 until Mid-April and the season normally starts just before then.
  6. How are Workingtons team plans going, will you be having the leftovers 🤔
  7. I think either of these teams would be very strong. Even without knowing other teams, I'd have them as favourites based on the amount of improvement I could see riders getting on their averages.
  8. Or have a no1 who is prepared to be captain. If he loves at Poole as much as he says then time to prove it!
  9. I won’t because I don’t think there is one! I simply believe that the cooks are better riders than Lawson, but I can certainly agree that in the championship Lawson is the more reliable rider.
  10. If Kennett is in the team then why not give it to him for a season or 2 that’s if he is.
  11. Is he goldilocks? This track is too small, this track is too big.. 😉🤭 Scunny? He only got 6. Order of preference: Ben Zach Rich Although Ben is about as realistic as Chris Holder. I don't really expect it. Problem with Rich is he doesn't want to be captain (or that is the general concenus), so if majority of team are young riders then that becomes an issue.
  12. On paper a good looking young side but can't see a result in heat 13 + 15 with that side, could even struggle at home ( hopefully ) 😜
  13. Think looking at it logically a midweek track is ideal for McDiarmid and him not being at Oxford he would slot into Poole middle order nicely alongside Kennett who I see putting 2points on his average. When Danny Ford said the other day we won’t be favourites and there would be some surprises I think Cairns Being at Number 5 would be McDiarmid would be as a lot of fans would of expected him to stay at Oxford. Not a traditional type Poole team but plenty of room for improvement from everyone in the team. Predicted 1-7 Lawson 8.15 Rushen 5.01 Harrison 5.74 Mcdiarmid 5.53 Cairns 6.44 Kennett 4.62 Lightcap 4.00 Total 39.49
  14. There's already a company charged with marketing the sport, bringing in sponsors, and negotiating a tv deal. It involves Phil Morris, Harry Redknapp and Sir Philip Davies.... Speedway Futures Ltd Would be interesting to know how it's going. Wouldn't have thought it needs another group getting in the way.
  15. He can ride in Poland when we are at those tracks 😂
  16. Name me a track Lawson is Poor at championship level and there’s your answer. Zach cook doesn’t go well at Plymouth and Berwick.
  17. Agree with McDiarmid But I do think Ben and Zach are the better rider to Lawson, and probably a better captain than Lawson. Lawson more reliable especially away, but Ben before he left and Zach last year were out performing Lawson
  18. I agree with you in that id have Ben back in heartbeat, can’t see it tho. I also believe his ave would be the new converted prem one rather than his old one? So it would be 9.93
  19. Cooper Rushen is pirate number 2. 5.01
  20. Today
  21. Ben Cook no thanks Lawson every day at championship level,Cook is not a no1 at this level. Lawson in that team and I wouldn’t mind that exact team as McDiarmid isn’t at Oxford and I think he has a lot of potential.
  22. No, Ben, but it could be Zach or Richard Lawson. Ben has the edge for me though. If he’s prepared to ride in the Championship again, he’d be right up there as one of the strongest riders in the league, plus he’s a trophy winning captain!
  23. Who is the second U21? Killeen is already 21 isn't he?
  24. Would be heavily relying on Jan really stepping up and the two youngsters adding a couple of points to their averages as can't see massive improvement in the other four.
  25. Panels can be repaired depending on the extent of the damage.
  26. 1. B. Cook 8.55 2. C. Rushen 5.01 3. L. Harrison 5.70 4. M. McDiarmid 5.53 5. W. Cairns 6.44 6. E. Kennett 4.62 7. S. Lightcap 4.00 Total: 39.85
