  1. Past hour
  2. I hope he wins but Kurtz won it last year and there is only three points in it .
  3. But does smile occasionally unlike Pete with the permanent grimace.
  4. Spot on but as we all know even a new consistent 5-6 point man in the top league is impossible to find.
  5. Big plans Linda in the travel lodge room with four team names in a used mcdonalds brown bag pulling the teams out for the play off's and probably earning 2-3k for five minutes work.
  6. Classic clive tyers so plymouth no longer do online tickets still do card payments and cash on entry, only you suggesting cash flow problems Mr snidey can't help yourself can you
  7. Today
  8. Could they not book a guest? After all I've seen plenty of borrowed officials at other tracks.
  9. 2 re-arranged matches dates are Monday 20th July Vastervik v Rospiggarna Monday 27th July Vargarna v Vastervik
  10. Think you answered your own question there, all reliant on technology and a fully charged phone, in my world a £20 note trumps all of that, especially when internet signal is poor. My wallet is a battered old leather one and always easy to find, don't need to go scrolling through my pockets to find it . If I go into any establishment or car park and it is digital or card payment only, I vote with my feet. None of these systems were brought in to aid the public, they were foisted onto us by the banks and technology platforms ( Apple, Google, Paypal, Klarna) to skim profits off every transaction
  11. Confirmed teams around 5.30pm UK time and live updates from 6pm tonight Rospiggarna v Dackarna https://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/Competition/DrivingSchedule/CompetitionLiveResult.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Columns=CompetitionInfo,Branch,Name,Organizer,FromDateShort,LiveResult&DateFilter=TODAY&pagesize=10&IsArrangeable=true &ShowSearch=true&Style=SvemoWebsite&CompetitionId=17694
  12. It always happens once a rider even contemplates retiring they seem to have fall away quite quickly ,the CL is a possibility next season but IMO now he should make this his last season as a rider .
  13. Will Ryan Douglas be back for this one as that was a big off he had in Poland at the weekend? Can’t see Kyle Howarth being fit to ride either as still suffering with the re-occurrence of his ankle injury form his spill last week, Dickson will be hoping Douglas rides as if not it’ll be R/R for him and a non premiership contracted rider as guest for Howarth (not much depth left in Championship to choose from as per Ipswich having to use MPT) which will put Leicester in a weakened position than him being available or runnIng R/R.
  14. Yesterday
  15. I agree about Nicholls sadly - even his home form is a shadow of what it was in 2024 guesting for Doyle. As far a a replacement goes, Nicholls is still on a quite inflated rolling average, and Rew might just fit, I would like to see him back. Not sure about dropping Lawson - he is a solid rider everywhere but recently admitted he's a one-man band. Maybe organising some off track help for him is a better answer.

  17. Never been a fan of Lawson … he isn’t well liked amongst the riders Ive heard as well and rubs promotions up the wrong way … im not one of these plastic fans who once a rider signs for you that you have to like … sure I want him to win races for us but I struggle to cheer him just something about his demeanour I’m not a fan of
  18. Team line ups from Witches website: IPSWICH TRU7 GROUP WITCHES: 1. Tom Brennan, 2. Rider Replacement – Richard Lawson, 3. Michael Palm Toft (guest), 4. Scott Nicholls (captain), 5. Tobiasz Musielak, 6. Kevin Juhl Pedersen, 7. Jason Edwards. LEICESTER LIONS: 1. Ryan Douglas, 2. Kyle Howarth or Rider Replacement, 3. Nick Morris, 4. Dan Thompson, 5. Sam Masters (captain), 6. Drew Kemp, 7. Joe Thompson
  19. I don't think the WiFi signal is great at The Coliseum either for these systems to work efficiently. The people on the gate (I drive in and park at stadium so pay in car) struggled early season to scan multiple tickets I had purchased on my phone so I always try to have the right amount of cash ready for those travelling in my car that day. It does tend to be much quicker this way and less stressful for the gate staff which is appreciated by them too.
  20. Also televised/streamed meetings tend to run for a couple of hours do they not? A three hour broadcast with half an hour each end for build up/analysis? Last night finished just after half 9. Most meetings this year have been done by 9:15, any quicker than that and personally I'd feel short changed.
  21. Only just read this. Are any West Ham team members from the mid/late 60’s still alive?
  22. I certainly remember Antoni Woryna back in the 60’s. Yes, I am getting old, started watching speedway in 1960.
