Mayfield haven't tried hard enough when it comes to Team Building imo, They could've put out a much better 1-7 than rumoured but the vast majority of the blame lies with Chris Louis for leaving the Club playing catch up.

It’s Brennan, Lawson, Musielak, Nicholls, King, Edwards and one other. Those are “signed” but we don’t know whether they were signed on the provision that Thorssell was also signing and if that’s now not happening, whether that will cause them to have a rethink. My guess is probably not but we’ll see.

Everyone can see it, just like everyone could see Birmingham and Oxford would be finishing at the bottom last year. Ipswich Speedway Promtions Ltd committed to run at the AGM. Just the same as King's Lynn Speedway Ltd did (and the companies which promote Belle Vue, Leicester and Sheffield). Any could be sold at any time, but they all committed.

Sounds like the forum and top flight speedway are run shoddily and on their way out

Was it "Ipswich" that made the commitment, as legally at that time, the owner was probably C.Louis who had made his intentions (or rather his non-intentions) very clear. In which case did the BSPL knowingly make that announcement without being on safe and solid ground, taking a risk on the sale proceeding to satisfactory completion and keeping fingers crossed behind their backs?
