  1. Past hour
  2. I would not believe all you see, some riders are on average reducing duty.
  3. Hardly any riders team ride these days But when your team needs a 2nd and 3rd to win a match do you not think it’s a tad foolish to just race off into the distance? You are allowed to criticise your own team when they mess up … the riders make mistakes all the time and Bewley absolutely did
  4. Not for me this take.. as the sport has evolved the tracks have not. If you watch racing at Belle Vue, Glasgow or Workington it is like watching a different sport to this absolute tripe on display. Riders are flat out pushing the bikes to their limit and have room for slight error with more room. Tracks like Ipswich, Poole and Edinburgh the riders are hunched over the the bikes trickling round like amateurs just happy to get 4 laps in. The only slight exception to this for me is Plymouth but that is more of a novelty because of how small it is. But these narrow tight tracks are holding the sport back.
  5. Blimey,, just looked on updates expecting to see the Witches atleast 20 or so up,,,dear oh dear
  6. 🎣🎣 unless you are a rider no one knows what riders do on track we can all have go but basically we don't know why ? do you think Bewley or Doyle give a dam what all the keyboard warriors say !! we all know the answer to that !! so you say one look back i say none in 4 laps of a race super team riding that he was clearly 20meters in front all the way !!
  7. The criticism of the track may well be valid but some level of criticism must lay with the riders who on today’s machine can rarely adapt to different track conditions and it makes the racing boring because of the set up and the general lack of rider skills with most on gate and go bikes but little track craft. Give the riders four track spares and ask them to race and then you will separate the men from the boys. Until you have an affordable level playing field races will be strung out because riders have simply lost the art/skill of riding to the conditions rather than the set ups.
  8. As the great philosopher and wordsmith Kelvin Tatum would say. This Ipswich track is working overtime to be the worst in the country tonight. No doubt about that.
  9. 5.1.8 Track Preparation Equipment As detailed on the Homologation Certificate, must be available in working order. Vehicles must be fitted with rotating flashing hazard warning lights. Well, it's fitted but not switched on 🚨
  10. Poole is the worst track in the country that’s not up for debate But tonight our track is awful the guys are not happy
  11. Now that it’s a bit doom and gloom around here, being ever the optimist, I’m really enjoying watching PK around Shielfield. He has a style that’s almost unique. Sometimes he doesn’t look like he is even on the bike. Any wider and he would be riding the air fence. I really hope he continues in uk speedway. I’ve not seen much of him in the premiership but I have been following his results and he really does seem like a solid asset to any team.
  12. Hahahaha Well you win the award for the most stupid comment of the evening Doyle looked back on the back straight saw Ellis in second Bewley needed to help his team mate to win the match!! Nice try trying to compare the two but totally different scenarios Oh and many Belle Vue fans criticised Bewley as well
  13. He did his job by blocking Kildemand in the first turn and Ellis cutting back under into second
  14. Or the riders could admit that the actually problem is the engines used in modern speedway but that will never happen
  15. I used to think Poole was the worst track in the country but this Ipswich track comfortably takes that accolade. Can anybody send me a link to a good race around here? Almost every rider aside from Doyle and Emil look like complete novices wobbling round and in fairness Emil looks like he is massively struggling tonight.
  16. so certain ipswich fans criticising bewley on monday for clearing off in front not looking for his teamate !! well just watched Doyle do exactly the same in heat 5 cleared off and didn't once look for Ellis !!! kettle pot black etc hypocrisy at it's best 😂
  17. Most are. The tracks not in a good state has it been raining???
  18. Surprised your not going Shovvy you used to be at every away meeting years ago.
  19. Can anybody tell me the name of this commentator and if he is still involved in speedway? I could listen to speedway on the radio with this guy commentating on it.
  20. Today
  21. Can't help but think Richard Lawson would have been better off staying with Leicester this season, he's dropped a point on his average.
