BSPL had updated the website with an article and KO Cup fixtures listed. But this as since been taken down. Website reverted back to play off fixture on Sunday and no fixture next Wednesday 🫣

You make the most important point, everyone is formulating the leagues for next year. Where on earth are they getting the riders from? Doubling up starting killing UK speedway in 2003 when riders were allowed to double up in the ill fated British league Cup. I'm sure a number of ex riders will be well informed and tell us they simply couldn't make a living out of it and had to pack it up.

Poland & Australia are favourites... GB will do well to finish third above Denmark. But I hope I'm wrong.

Both Poole and Redcar websites have the KO Cup meetings on 5th and 8th Oct respectively. BSPL have not updated their fixture list yet - possibly because the office is involved in big meetings taking place in Rugby at the moment apparantly!?

Do the Polish, Swedish and Danish leagues run into October? The billboard outside Ashfield says ”Fridays, March to October”, so October racing is expected. Then again, that billboard also says ”CHAMPIONS”, so it’s a bloody liar.

The whole thing's a bit half arsed isn't it? The time starts when they close the pit gate! Come on! The camera is often on the wrong rider, with each rider seemingly just being shown for 15 seconds each before the camera cuts to the guy holding the red flag, it's so TV by numbers it's laughable. The clock showing how long is left in the session is unreadable. If they are going to do it they should at least attempt to do it properly and put some thought into it.

So is it now play-offs at Redcar on Sunday 5th and KO Cup at Poole on Wednesday 8th?

We have had good weather in October and we have had play offs in November. Met office saying rain Friday in Redcar but sunny on Sunday so should be ok.

Who'd of thought it? In October as well? It might be "pie in the sky" but for 2026 how about - BSN Final by end of July - KOC Final by the end of August - League meetings complete by end of August - Play-off Semi's and Final in September.

I agree league matches should be completed before the play-offs. But it would be daft to not allow a KOC fixture to be raced between 2 clubs who have finished their fixtures because others still have to finish theirs.
