  2. Looking at this 2 legged play off Final only the most loyal and committed Lions supporters would have thought they'd have any chance whatsoever of winning over the 2 legs against the Witches . To me it wasn't a surprise in the slightest they lost the home leg as you'd presume Ipswich would have been clear favourites to win both meetings anyway. If they were to lose the final then that would certainly have been a massive shock. Still think its weird that Leicester won more league meetings than any other team this season and lost less than any other league team and still finished 3rd in the table. In Speedways heyday that would have meant being League Champions.
  3. Needs to be 1 GP per country and get out to some new audiences, Spain?
  4. Some people hated seeing that because we never get passing at Wimborne Road apparently!!
  5. OK guys, check your recording for tonight's meeting as TNT have changed the name so anyone like me who set it up on Monday will have to set again. It was Grand Final playoffs, now British speedway 🙄 Good job I checked.
  6. Yep I'll be at the ECCO Arena and I'm sure there will be a good following from Dorset 👍 Just avin me celebration flat white ☕ and toast at Costa Poole, oh it tastes very nice 😀
  7. The craziest part of the whole story was that Lampart earned 1.53 zlotys NET (£300k) this season. Madness.
  8. Well Tai says he’ll be there or thereabouts if he stays fit . So there you have it woffy doubters….. .
  9. Ipswich have been the best team from day one . They’ve carried nobody. Belle Vue and Sheffield may have the top gp riders but they’ve been let down in other areas. Same with Leicester. They will be deserved champions. But then surprises do sometimes happen. Can’t see it in this case though.
  10. Let's just put this to bed once and for all. There were some complications with the birth of Rich's son Rio, which required Rich to be there, but all is now well. Congratulations to all the family. Now the ECCO beckons.......again.
  11. I can here it now “Emil’s on fire, Stuart Dicksons terrified, Emil’s on fire, na na na na na na na na na na na na” 😂😂😂😂
  12. yes those were the days when you could get arrested for going for a walk in the country side or sitting on a park bench.. forget about it, it was only a small lockdown. 🤣
  13. Today
  14. Okay, let's assume he is affordable... why then is he not seen outside of his country promoting Speedway as World Champion? Where are his media appearances? His interviews and promotional activities? He doesn't even do interviews during a GP on the world feed! I'll give you that he rides in Sweden
  15. well they are knackered then, no one knows how to promote speedway in this country.
  16. I am sure lots will show compassion for him and family if i suspect the reason for him missing last week is what i have heard on the awful grapevine
  17. If u understood the reason for his compassionate leave like I've been informed (not officially) u may actually show some compassion Geoff.
  18. Totally agree. Same with Leicester too though. If they manage to pull this off from here then in my opinion it’ll be an incredible achievement even bigger than Sheffield pulling back an 18 point deficit a couple of years ago. The downpour and conditions made it a farce and without question affected the outcome of that final. Ipswich hadn’t lost by more than 18 in the two previous league meetings there that year under normal conditions. But with the weather not a factor here, if Leicester manage to win at Foxhall by six or more then it’ll go down as one of the greatest achievements in Speedway. I personally can’t see it and I think it’s going to take an Ipswich heatleader to crash out of the meeting in their first ride or something similar, for Leicester to prevail. They’re going to need a helping hand and although It’s not likely, these things CAN happen. It’s speedway after all.
  19. If Ipswich get off to a strong start it's game over. If that happens then fair play Ipswich deserved play off winners.
  20. Like the use of " lawson is available" should he not have had a ban for missing last week ?
  21. Poole head into Fridays 2nd leg with a very healthy 14 point lead over Redcar. With talisman Richard Lawson available again after compassionate leave Poole start as favourites to lift the Cup but the Bears will want to show the home support some resolve and come out fighting from the start. Poole are at full strength but once again Redcar will av guests for Erik Riss and Jody Scott. Teams Redcar 1. Charles Wright 2. Jake Mulford 3. Jason Edwards 4. Leon Flint (G) tbc 5. Danny King 6. (Guest tbc) 7. Ace Piper Poole 1. Richard Lawson 2. Tobias Thomsen 3. Lewis Kerr 4. Zach Cook 5. Anders Rowe 6. Paul Starke 7. Will Cairns
