  1. Past hour
  2. Not sure if agree with that because 1) what of no ex-riders want to become referees & 2) when I see an ex-rider on commentary they often excuse falls & blame the track, rather than the opponent, I feel this could lead to multiple all four re-runs because they side with both riders? I'm not the answer to poor refereeing, even with video footage, you often see bizarre decisions made.
  3. Good to see a home win to keep the home fans happy. Nki still got it! Klindt doesn't seem interested with the track. Batchelor is Batchelor- doing about as expected.
  4. Joe was only signed as a 28 day injury replacement, If they had signed him as a replacement then dropped him he cannot be introduced. I tend to agree Dan Gilkes seems to have lost some of his confidence on the bike and am sure the falls tonight will not have helped. I don’t think he can but Gilkes could probably do with some NL meetings to get his confidence back Northampton at present is a difficult track to ride and is very inconsistent as Nick Morris and Ryan Douglas found with holes and bumps appearing
  5. Maybe this is not being done by a human. How could one person be able to constantly make posts across so many theads, using so many identities. Just doesnt seem humanly possible
  6. Could they re-sign JT? There was a rule a season or so ago but not being able to re-sign riders you already dropped? Or is it different for RS?
  7. Finn Jenson was an expert on that.
  8. Why "hand it it to BZ again"... are you forgetting Brady Kurtz ?
  9. ... and then thanked other riders for getting off the track in subsequent races!
  10. Today
  11. Dan Gilkes has already signed for Scunthorpe and scored 15, paid 18 from his first two meetings for them. That boat has sailed, other than for guest appearances
  12. He fell, quickly picked his bike up and got to the infield wth the leaders more than half a lap away. Then the ref put the red lights on! Absolutely no need to do so. As it turned out it was the only bit of luck that went the Lions way. Congrats Foxes on your first win. Well deserved .
  13. Lions lost it tonight more than Foxes winning it. Less than the first night more than the 2nd night. About 75% of opening night, a lot of Lions in attendance.
  14. He wasn't tonight... but he's had some shockers in the past, some of these new intake of refs are getting the basics wrong though 🤷‍♂️
  15. Are you sure about that @racers and royals is banging on about HBO Max he's not mentioned the world feed.
  16. Exactly what happened in heat 2? Gilkes seemed to be pootling round, then was on the infield, and then the red lights came on! What did I miss?
  17. At the worst SGP track in Prague , it is usually like racing on the M25. Always the chance of the track getting overwatered to liven the meeting up.
  18. He wasn't tonight... but he's had some shockers in the past, some of these new intake of refs are getting the basics wrong though 🤷‍♂️
  19. I thought the very same BUT there is only one meeting before the SGP on the 5th + 6th so that consideration is not viable.
  20. Well that would be kinda ironic, mind you he didn't actually score at the meeting tonight.
  21. Thoroughly enjoyable in the end, although it all seemed like business as usual early on. Lidsey came good and maxde some gates, Iversen gave us a bit of the old leg trailing in his first 3 wins, and Thompson was great again. The less said about Batchelor and Klindt the better. Jeppesen was an odd one - he seemed terrified of mixing it in the first corner in his first couple of rides but settled down okay. The track is riding much better than week one, and the crowds have held up surprisingly well, although it was a warm evening against local opposition. Still, I'd hope that it'll settle around 1,500. Can't make the next couple now but will be back again soon and, who knows, we might have 7 men firing at once by then!
  22. Yes. Next two meetings to prove he’s capable otherwise & subject to JT or similar being available, he’s gone.
  23. Wonder is scunny will make the change then, the clock is ticking down.
  24. Did not see the match let alone the incidents but yes its 100% the bikes. Thing is also when you see how much these things are costing to run, it makes you wonder how any rider can afford to ride in this country unless the promoters are paying out far more than they get in revenue which is not sustainable. Dan Thompson on his channel covered costs and it mind blowing to me.
  25. Wonder if Stewart is starting to regret bringing Gilkes back in for Thompson already.
  26. Maybe someone from abroad who wants a month of meetings or the more likely option will be for guests I think, chance for Gilkes perhaps
  27. I don't think you understand. There is no world feed confirmed.
